Location: Sambrial-Daska Road Near Sialkot
Pakistan Railways || Empty Rake of Allama Iqbal Express travelling towards Sialkot from Wazirabad to Start its journey for Karachi. Train was departed almost 4 hours late from Wazirabad because of heavy rain. I was travelling from Sialkot to Daska via Sambrial. I was totally not aware that Allama Iqbal Express is 4 hours late. It was totally unexpected and rare scene for me when gateman waved his hands towards train and driver stop the train at gate to pick up a motorbike.

Allama Iqbal Express is fast Pakistani train .Its run between Sialkot Karachi on main line via Landhi , Hyderabad , Nawabshah , Tando Adam ,Rohri Ghotki , Sadiqabad, Rahim Yar Khan , Bahawalpur , Dunya Pur , Jahanain ,Sahiwal , Multan , Okara , Raiwind , Lahore and Narowal. According to the Pakistan Railway train numbers Allama Iqbal Express Karachi to Sialkot is 9 Up and Sialkot to Karachi is 10 down .This train take approximately 24 hours and 25 minutes to complete its journey of 1362 K.M . Allama Iqbal Express 9 Up have 31 stops and Allama Iqbal Express 10 DN have 31 stops . Allama Iqbal Express have only Economy class in it.

Pakistan Railway Electric Locomotive BCU-30
The abbreviation BCU30 stands for British Consortium Universal, 3000 horse power. Pakistan got 29 of these units starting in 1964. Their serial numbers were 7001 to 7029. These units could only be used on the 276 km route between Lahore and Khanewal as only this length of Pakistan’s Rail network is electrified.
These locomotives work on AC (alternating current) traction of 25000 Volts.

So it is 20th May 2020. The day which Pakistani railfans are waiting for almost 2 months. Pakistan Railways is back again on tracks with limited train operations and proper SOP to avoid spread of corona virus among passengers.
I went on my favorite location in a sunny shiny morning to record first train of the day from Wazirabad and sialkot towards Karachi after almost 2 months.
10 dn Allama Iqbal Express lead by Zcu 20 6415 locomotive passing over the canal. Enjoy some drone views of the canal.
