Bokaro Steel City is one of the planned cities of India, a major industrial centre and the fourth largest city in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is the administrative headquarters of Bokaro district. The city stands at an elevation of 210 metres above sea level and has an urban area of 183 square kilometres.

Dudhsagar Waterfall Goa
Dudhsagar waterfall is the most popular waterfall in the the Goa.
I believe if you haven’t visited this amazing waterfall during your Goa trip then you missing most beautiful and scenic attraction of Goa. We all know that Goa is more popular for beautiful beaches but out of it this is must visit place.
I have already mentioned this place in Day 3 of Goa series but making separate video have three reasons.

Topchanchi Lake || Fresh Water Lake in Dhanbad || Jharkhand
Topchanchi Lake is an interesting tourist spot in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. Situated on the National Highway 2, it is located at the Golden Quadrilateral. Dhanbad Railway Station is 37 km from the lake and Bokaro is 41 km. Though the lake is an artificial one, its green surrounding amidst forests and hills makes it an ideal picnic spot. It is also in demand for sound and serene vacations. It covers a total area of 214 acres. Parasnath Hills being located close by makes the tourists visit the lake at the same time. Topchanchi Lake is basically a stream which is dammed like a reservoir to supply water to the district and its suburban areas. Topchanchi Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over 8.75 sq km. The area is small enough yet few harmless animals reside here. The area surrounding the lake is also seeked by religious people, specially Jains and Hindus.

Basic Details of DUGDA :
Geography :
Dugda is located at 23.45°N 86.09°E.
It has an average elevation of 218 metres (715 feet).
Demographics :
As per 2011 Census of India Dugda had a population of 22,740,
of which 11,912 were males and 10,828 females.
Scheduled Castes numbered 2,827 and Scheduled Tribes numbered 1,240.
As of 2001 India census,Dugda had a population of 18,864.
Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%.
Dugda has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77% and, female literacy is 54%.
In Dugda, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Literacy :
As of 2011 census, the total number of literates in Dugda was 15,794 out of which 9,236 were males and 6,568 were females.
Market :
It has a small market situated between the town along with general and other stores scattered all over the town,
which fulfills the needs of the people. The city also has many good schools.
The students of these schools are working all over the country in different reputed companies.
Place of interest :
Khadeswari Temple - It is a very famous Temple for not only the people of Dugda but also for many other from other places.
This place is also known as Pahari Mandir as it is situated on the top of the hill.
Milan Kendra - This is the marriage ceremony hall for the people.
Hanuman Mandir - There are three Hanuman Mandirs situated in the town.
One in the middle of the market, second just below New B.C.C.L. Colony and the third one is in B.C.C.L Colony.
All the temples are beautiful.
Shiva Mandir -There are two Shiva Mandir one temple is situated at the rear side of the main market and another one is in the middle of New B.C.C.L. Colony.
It is the temple of Lord Shiva as the main deity, along with many other Hindu Gods.
Apart from these, there is also a Gurudwara and a Mosque.

There is a sports playground at the center of the town mainly used by the local residents for different sports and athletic interests,
though it is also used for hosting tournaments, generally football, organized in Dugda. There are many other smaller fields in the rest part of Dugda.
Culture :
Festivals like Chhath Puja, Diwali, Durga Puja, Id, Sarhul are celebrated across the township with equal fervor and joy by the multicultural population here.
On the tenth day of Durga Puja, the Ravana effigy is burnt, which signifies victory of good over bad.
People not only from the town but also from the neighboring places gather here to witness this grand spectacle.
Health services :
There is a general hospital in the township for the care of people. There are many small dispensaries, homeopathy and ayurvedic centers also.
Transport :
The town is well connected through roads and rail. The railway halt (as is better known) is a single line (broadguage) connection between Katrasgarh and Chandrapura.
The town has become quite popular in the local area for the hill top temple (Khadeswari Temple) named after a holy sadhu (Baba Khadeswari)and thus also serves as a tourist attraction here.
The temple construction started in the early seventies and thereafter developmental activities continued through earnings and donations from temple visitors,
followers of Baba Khadeswari and Dugda Coal Washery's employees.
Baba Khadeswari was a Sadhu from Uttar Pradesh, who had visited this place in the early seventies and had decided to build a temple on the hill top.
He never spoke and communicated only through sign language. He stood throughout his life and used to wear wooden paduka.
Today the temple has become a small tourist attraction. Pucca road from the bottom of the hill till the hill top has already been constructed.
