An extension of the Melbourne CBD, Docklands sits on Wurundjeri land and was originally an open hunting ground for the local first nations people.
After being used as Melbourne's freight hub for many decades, it was developed into a collection of precincts made up of modern apartment buildings, waterfront dining, shopping and entertainment areas.
In this video we take a walk on Harbour Esplanade, take in the sights at New Quay Promenade and explore The District Shopping centre.
