Frankrijk, Rondreis door Normandië
We hebben dit keer een rondreis van 11 dagen door Normandië gemaakt. Vanuit Nederland rijden we naar de Opaalkust waar we in Boulogne-sur-Mer overnachten. Op dag 2 rijden we Normandië in en stoppen in Le Tréport, Varengeville-sur-Mer, Veules-les-Roses en overnachten in Saint-Valéry-en-Caux. Dag 3 gaat naar Fécamp (Paleis Bénédictine), Etretat ( voor mensen moeilijk ter been, rollator, rolstoel is er weinig te zien. Alle wegen omhoog zijn afgesloten voor verkeer) en Honfleur waar we ook overnachten. Dag 4 bezoeken we Pont l’Évêque, Deauville, Dives-sur-Mer (Village d'Art Guillaume-le-Conquérant), Beuvron-en-Auge en overnachten in Asnelles (3 nachten). Dag 5 gaan we een aantal D-Day locaties in Normandië bezoeken. Dag 6 is voor mij een relax dag. Dag 7 rijden we vanaf de kust richting Normandisch Zwitserland en Perche. Wij rijden een prachtige route en bezoeken Domfront, Bagnoles-de-l’Orne en overnachten in Alençon. Dag 8 gaan we eerst naar La Perrière en dan weer omhoog naar Le Bec-Hellouin. Bezoek nog even Bonsecours vlak naast Rouen waar we overnachten. Dag 9 blijven we in Rouen. Dag 10 gaan we verder naar Chateau de Martainville, Lyons-la-Forêt en overnachten in Montreuil sur Mer. Dag 11 De rondreis zit erop. We hebben veel gezien nu nog het stuk naar Nederland rijden.(2022)
This time we made an 11-day tour of Normandy. From the Netherlands we drive to the Opal Coast where we spend the night in Boulogne-sur-Mer. On day 2 we drive into Normandy and stop in Le Tréport, Varengeville-sur-Mer, Veules-les-Roses and spend the night in Saint-Valéry-en-Caux. Day 3 goes to Fécamp (Paleis Bénédictine), Etretat (there is not much to see for people with walking difficulties, walker, wheelchair. All roads up are closed to traffic) and Honfleur where we also spend the night. Day 4 we visit Pont l'Évêque, Deauville, Dives-sur-Mer (Village d'Art Guillaume-le-Conquérant), Beuvron-en-Auge and spend the night in Asnelles (3 nights). Day 5 we will visit a number of D-Day locations in Normandy. Day 6 is a relaxing day for me. Day 7 we drive from the coast towards Normandy Switzerland and Perche. We drive a beautiful route and visit Domfront, Bagnoles-de-l'Orne and spend the night in Alençon. Day 8 we first go to La Perrière and then up again to Le Bec-Hellouin. Visit Bonsecours right next to Rouen where we spend the night. Day 9 we stay in Rouen. Day 10 we continue to Chateau de Martainville, Lyons-la-Forêt and overnight in Montreuil sur Mer. Day 11 The tour is over. We have seen a lot now that we still have to drive the part to the Netherlands.
Diving Boca Samí Curaçao | The Shore Dive Collection | TropicLens - 4K
Boca Samí is a small fishing village, 10 minutes west of Willemstad that as a ton to offer. In addition to the diving, which we will get to shortly, there are hiking trails with some pretty good views, a flamingo habitat and the remains of a 200 year old colonial fort. It’s also home to Dive Wederfort, the oldest dive shop on the island.
Sitting outside their front door is a large shallow bay, dotted with the local fishing fleet. A few minutes of swimming after that gets you to the drop off and a gigantic mooring buoy for cargo ships. We saw lots of life hear from turtles and squid to large schools of scad and mullets. We even had two first time captures that included a lantern bass and a beaded sea star.

FIRST TIME CAPTURE IDENTIFICATION
We primarily use two sources to validate our first time captures. The first is Florent's Guide To The Tropical Reefs which can be found at Its free and has lots of pictures, but is not comprehensive. The second is “The Reef Set: Reef Fish, Reef Creature and Reef Coral (3 Volumes)”. The box set can be found on Amazon; however with all our travels, we also purchased the eBooks ( so we don’t have to carry an extra five pounds of paper in our luggage. :-) We may also reference other sources from time to time as well.

프랑스 여행 중에 프랑스 북서부에 위치한 노르망디 지방의 깔바도스 도의 작은 항구 도시, 디브 쉬흐 메흐!!! 영국을 정복한 읠리엄이 군대를 이끌고 출항한 곳으로, 파리에서 2시간 가량 차로 달리면 도착하는 이 마을에는 어부들이 잡아 온 싱싱한 해산물을 파는 수산 시장이 « 기욤 항구 Port Guillaume »에서 매일 오전에 열리는데, 계절에 따라 다양한 해산물을 직접 구매 할 수 있지요.
지금은 평화로운 모습으로 관광객의 시선을 사로잡는 요트들의 선착장으로 사용되는 이 항구에서 1066년 ‘기욤 Guillaume le Conquérant’ (정복 왕 윌리엄)이 영국을 정복하기 위하여 출항한 곳으로도 유명하며, 매년 8월 2번째 주말에 멋진 행사가 열립니다.
이 도시의 ‘노트르담 교회 L'église Notre-Dame’ 현관문을 들어서면, 1862년 제작하여 현관문 안쪽 위에 설치한 석판에는 ‘기욤 Guillaume le Conquérant’을 보좌하여 함께 출항한 475명 귀족들의 이름이 적혀있는 것을 볼 수 있구요.....
우리가 익히 알고 있는 프랑스 대 문호인 마르셀 푸르스트(Marcel Proust)는 연약하며 괴팍한 성격으로도 유명하지만, 바로 옆 마을인 ‘까부흐 Cabourg’에서 그의 대작 « 잃어버린 시간을 찾아서 à la recherche le temps perdu’를 집필하면서 특별히 이 마을과 교회를 묘사하기도 하였답니다.
정복 왕 기욤의 마을 village de Guillaume le Conquérant
‘노트르담 교회 L'église Notre-Dame’ 교회에서 200미터 떨어진 « 정복 왕 기욤의 예술 마을 »은 장인들과 식당, 상가가 입점하여 있는데, 예전에는 ‘루앙 Rouen’과 ‘깡 Caen’을 연결하는 역마차가 쉬어가는 역참 이었지요.
기욤 항구 Port Guillaume
로마시대부터 디브 항구의 중요성이 부각되었으며, 북쪽에서 내려온 바이킹들이 디브 강을 따라서 프랑스 내부로 침입하여 노략질을 하는데, 858년에는 성모 마리아가 걸쳤던 옷을 보기 위하여 몰려드는 순례자들로 막대한 부를 쌓은 ‘샤흐트르 Chartres’ 도시까지 내륙 깊숙이 침입하여 약탈하기도 하였답니다.
‘정복 왕 기욤 Guillaume le Conquérant’이 영국을 정복하기 위하여 이 곳에 군사를 모으고, 배를 건조하였으며 1천 척의 배에 2-3천명의 기마병을 포함하여 총 7-8천명의 군사를 동원하여 출항한 곳입니다.

During my trip to France, I visited Div-sur-Mech, a small port town in the Calvados region of Normandy, located in northwest France. This is the place where England's conqueror Illium set sail with his army. In this town, which is about a two-hour drive from Paris, a fish market selling fresh seafood caught by fishermen is held every morning at Port Guillaume. You can purchase a variety of seafood depending on the season.
This port, which is now used as a dock for yachts that attract the attention of tourists with its peaceful appearance, is also famous as the place where 'Guillaume le Conquérant' (William the Conqueror) set sail to conquer England in 1066, and 8 times a year. A great event takes place the second weekend of the month.

This is one of the first post Covid-19 tris we did in September 2021. I had the time for a couple of dives there and here is the result of what we captured!

海辺なので五つ星でも皆さんわりとカジュアルな服装で、私たちもリラックスして滞在出来ました。

私たちが宿泊した時は、一泊の部屋代は約618ユーロ(朝食料金込み)でした。

こじんまりとしていますが絵画やインテリア、デジタルアートなど見応えがあります。
カフェスペースがあるので見終えた後に休憩が出来てとても良かったです。

海を面して左へずっと歩くと辿り着きます。
良心的な価格で、とても美味しいムール貝のワイン蒸しをいただきました。
フリットの有無を選べるところもありがたくひとつを二人で分ける事で残さず完食出来ました。
初日もここへ来れば良かったと思ったぐらいです。

바닷가 모래사장이 가장 가까운 곳에 위치한 캠핑장, 매일 수많은 사람들이 캐도 캐도 또 나오는 조개잡이 강추!!!! 꼬막과 맛 조개… 물론, 낚시는 절대 빼 놓을 수 없죠.^_^
‘중세 봉건주의 시대‘, 이 도시에서 일어난 역사적인 사건에 가장 중요한 것은, 영국을 정복하고 왕위를 접수한 노르망디 공작이며, 동시에 정복왕으로 불리는 ‘가욤 르 꽁께항 Guillaume le Conquérant’이 자신의 친위대와 함께 성당에서 미사를 올리고, 영국으로 출발한 사건!!!! 정확히는, 바로 옆에 붙어있는 ‘디브 쉬르 매르 Dives-sur-mer‘의 항구에서 출발. 여름철 8월 중순에 이 사건을 기념하는 축제가 열린다. 주민들이 중세시대의 복장을 하고 시가행진을 벌이고 전쟁모습을 재현하기도……

The camping site is located closest to the sandy beach. I highly recommend shellfish fishing, where many people come out every day to dig for clams!!!! Cockles and flavored clams… Of course, fishing cannot be left out.^_^
