So without wasting much time, here are the top ten most beautiful cities in Nigeria 2020.
1. Abuja. Abuja is a Nigerian city which is located in the centre of Nigeria. It was created with the aim of replacing Lagos as the capital of Nigeria.
This Nigerian city also plays host to so many tourist attractions in Nigeria.
Some of these national monuments include the Aso rock,National Assembly complex, Zuma rock, Supreme Court complex, the Nigerian national stadium, National mosque and church, Abuja millennium tower and lots more.
2. Lagos. Popularly referred to as the economic capital of West Africa, Lagos is one of the busiest cities in Africa.
Lagos is the largest city in Nigeria and one of the largest in Africa in terms of population.
It is one of the fastest-growing cities in the world.
3. Calabar. Calabar is the capital city of Cross-Rivers State which was originally named “Akwa Akpa“.
This Nigerian city is widely described as the tourism capital of Nigeria.
Apart from being a destination for tourists in terms of tourism, Calabar is also a very beautiful Nigerian city with world-class road networks and buildings.
4. Uyo. Uyo is the capital of one of Nigeria’s finest states – Akwa-Ibom State.
This Nigerian city is one of the best cities in Nigeria with a good and well-planned road network, lots of business buildings and 5-star hotels and lots more.
5. Enugu. Enugu is the capital city of Enugu State, Nigeria. It is located in the Southeastern part of Nigeria.
This Nigerian city is one of the most beautiful cities you can visit when taking a trip to South Eastern Nigeria.

One of the most beautiful island getaways anywhere in the WORLD is located right here in AFRICA!
This tiny island paradise just east of Madagascar, off the eastern coast of Africa, is one of the most beautiful places on EARTH!
Located in the Indian Ocean, Mauritius is home to only around 1 million people, despite being TWICE the size of Hong Kong. However this island paradise features beautiful weather year round, and plenty for everyone.
Mauritius more than doubles it’s population with tourists who visit each year, as in 2018 when it hosted over 1.4 million visitors, including yours truly.
Most tourists arrive by airplane, however some do arrive by boat. Mauritius is a very popular destination for many from other African countries looking for a getaway without going too far from home.
Hey, 1.4 million people a year cannot be wrong!
So let’s jump into our list of the ten reasons we think you should visit Mauritius!
10. Food
If you love food, you will love your time in Mauritius, trust me!
Mauritian cuisine is one of the most diverse in the world, with influences from French, Indian, African and Asian kitchens coming together to create its unique flavours. Be sure to scan restaurant menus for daube, fish vindaye, chicken or fish kalia (mixed with vegetables), mutton halim (a soup), a classic tomato-based chicken stew and a local take on Indian vindaloo.
You can also try Mauritian snacks such as dhal puri, a traditional flatbread filled with spicy ground split peas and served with chutney. Or try the island’s famous babonne, a fleshy white fish similar to red snapper.
9. Festivals
If you want to experience what’s said to be the largest Hindu pilgrimage outside India, plan a visit during Maha Shivaratri.
Each February, around 500,000 people make the pilgrimage on foot to Grand Bassin, a lake near which stands a giant statue of Lord Shiva.
You can also visit during Diwali, the festival of light, held every Spring, and feast on gâteau patate – sweet potato and coconut cakes made and offered as gifts between families and neighbours.
Other festivals such as Thaipusam, Ganesh Chathurthi, Ugadi and Chinese New Year are also widely celebrated and each of them gives a glimpse into the many cultures that come together to create the island of Mauritius.
8. Markets
Featuring fruit and vegetable vendors, artisans selling handicrafts, spice vendors and street-food hawkers, the markets all over the island offer a cheerful slice of Mauritian life.

Abidjan est la capitale économique de la Côte d’Ivoire et l’une des villes francophones les plus peuplées d’Afrique. Selon le recensement de 2014, la population d’Abidjan s’élevait à 4,7 millions d’habitants, soit 20 % de la population totale du pays, ce qui la place au sixième rang en Afrique derrière le Caire, Lagos, Dar es Salaam, Kinshasa et Johannesburg. Abidjan, carrefour culturel de l’Afrique de l’Ouest, a un haut niveau d’industrialisation et d’urbanisation. Abidjan étant également la plus grande ville du pays et le centre de son activité économique, elle a été officiellement désignée comme capitale économique du pays. Le district autonome d’Abidjan, qui englobe la ville et certaines de ses banlieues, est l’un des 14 districts de la Côte d’Ivoire.
Abidjan est restée la capitale de la Côte d’Ivoire après avoir gagné son indépendance de la France en 1960. En 1983, la ville de Yamoussoukro a été désignée comme capitale politique officielle de la Côte d’Ivoire bien que l’ancienne capitale Abidjan ait conservé plusieurs fonctions politiques. Avant 2011, le district actuel de Yamoussoukro faisait partie de la région des Lacs. Le district a été créé en 2011 et est divisé en départements d’Attiégouakro et de Yamoussoukro.
« La langue traditionnelle de la ville d’Abidjan serait l’Ebrié. Depuis l’indépendance, la langue officielle à Abidjan et dans toute la Côte d’Ivoire est le français. Bien que la langue officielle soit une variété formelle de français standard semblable à celle de Paris, le français le plus couramment parlé dans cette ville est un dialecte familier connu sous le nom de français de Treichville ou français de Moussa qui est différent du français standard dans la prononciation et dans une partie de son vocabulaire. Une autre forme de français parlé à Abidjan est Nouchi, une variété très informelle utilisée comme argot adolescent. La lingua franca historique, encore parlée et comprise par la plupart de la population commerçante d’Abidjan, est Dioula. La ville accueille de nombreux Ivoiriens de tout le pays et une soixantaine de langues vernaculaires sont parlées, comme Baoulé, Wobé, Bété et Attié. Abidjan est entourée de plus de trente villages où l’on parle encore couramment le baoulé et l’ébrié. »
La nourriture ivoirienne est piquante et épicée avec un grand nombre de piments. Essayez- donc les plats suivants;
a) Attieke - Manioc fermenté
Le manioc est un aliment de base en Côte d’Ivoire. Attieke est un aliment attrayant avec le manioc fermenté comme ingrédient principal. Il a une saveur douce et est un natif de la tribu Nzema au Ghana, amené en Côte d’Ivoire et dans de nombreux autres pays d’Afrique. Les Ivoiriens le consomment souvent avec de la viande braisée, du poisson, du couscous ou de la banane plantain. Ce plat présente de nombreuses variantes.
L’aliment Attieke de haute qualité est appelé Abgodjiama. L’Attieke Petit Grain est une version bon marché et est souvent vendu sur les marchés. Garba Attieke est plus abordable que l’Attieke traditionnel et ce type est généralement utilisé pour la consommation de Garba.Vous pouvez
également essayer de manger l’Attieke avec du poisson.
b) Soupe de pêcheur
Ce plat a des racines en Hongrie et était une invention des pêcheurs hongrois. Ils ont fait la première soupe sur un feu ouvert le long des rivières dans ce pays. Aujourd’hui, il apparaît à travers l’Europe,
l’Afrique de l’Ouest, et d’autres continents. Au début, les pêcheurs utilisaient des bouilloires pour cuisiner cette délicieuse nourriture.

Guinée Conakry, située en Afrique de l’Ouest, a une histoire riche et diversifiée qui remonte à des milliers d’années. La région a d’abord été habitée par divers groupes ethniques, y compris le Malinke et le Soussou, qui a établi des royaumes et des empires puissants. Au cours des XVIe et XVIIe siècles, la région a été contrôlée par les Portugais, puis par les Français, qui ont colonisé le pays à la fin des années 1800.
En 1958, la Guinée-Conakry a obtenu son indépendance de la France et est devenue la première colonie africaine à rejeter l’appartenance à la Communauté française, aussi appelée « Francafrique ». Conakry est la capitale et la plus grande ville de Guinée. Située sur la côte de l’océan Atlantique, Conakry a une histoire et une culture riches, ainsi qu’une économie florissante. La ville compte plus de deux millions d’habitants et est connue pour ses marchés animés, sa vie nocturne animée et son architecture étonnante.
L’un des monuments les plus remarquables de Conakry est la Grande Mosquée de Conakry, une grande et impressionnante mosquée située dans le centre-ville. Le Musée national de Conakry est une autre attraction incontournable, mettant en valeur la riche histoire et le patrimoine culturel du pays. Hello and greetings from Ushuaia, Argentina where we'll cover the top things to do in this Ushuaia travel guide from this fascinating city at the end of the world! Today we’re going to be visiting the southernmost city in the world, located in the province of Tierra del Fuego at the very bottom of Argentina.
This was the final stop of our massive trip across Patagonia and we’ll be sharing some of the best things to do in Ushuaia during your visit. Join us as we cruise the Beagle Channel, ride the train to the end of the world, send a postcard from the southernmost post office, tour a former prison-turned museum, explore the city via double-decker bus, and more!
The following is our Ushuaia travel guide! We hope this video gives you a few ideas of the many tours, attractions and experiences you can enjoy here!
???????? Things to do in Ushuaia, Argentina ????????
1) Cruise the Beagle Channel
This is a great opportunity to see some wildlife like cormorants, penguins and sea lions! Bring your passport on the cruise because you can get a Beagle Channel stamp.
2) See the Lighthouse and End of the World
Often attributed as Jules Verne's lighthouse at the end of the world, this lighthouse's real name is Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
3) Admire the Penguins on Hammer Island
Not all tour operators are allowed to disembark at the penguin rookery, so in our case, we just admired them from the boat!
4) Go on a Double-Decker Bus Tour of Ushuaia
Picture an old-fashioned double-decker bus painted bright blue, and then get ready to be transported back through time as you set step aboard. Over the course of the tour you’ll get to learn about Ushuaia’s history and hear fun anecdotes, with a bit of tango music in between.
5) Visit the Prison at the End of the World
Ushuaia was founded as a penal colony and this prison was in operation between 1902 to 1947. Today, it houses multiple museums including the Prison Museum, the Maritime Museum, the Antarctic Museum, the Art Museum, and the Art Gallery.
6) Tour the Themed Gallery of Fuegian History
This is a museum featuring dioramas and lifelike figures that showcase the history of the province of Tierra del Fuego. The visit is done as a self-guided tour with an audio guide, so you can go at your own pace.
7) Visit the End of the World Museum
This museum deals with local history and natural history. The displays here focus on local wildlife and shipwreck remains.
8) Visit the Former Government House + Botanical Garden
Set in the former Government House, this museum has a couple of displays relating to its history, as well as a small botanical garden.
9) Sample the Local Cuisine
Ushuaia has lots of unique seafood dishes and the thing to try is the king crab!
10) Go on a Walk along the Harbour
Another thing we’d recommend doing in Ushuaia is walking along the Costanera, which is the boardwalk along the waterfront. You can see all sorts of vessels in the harbour, including cruises departing for Antarctica.
11) See the Saint Christopher
Once known as the HMS Justice, this was a Royal Navy ship classified as a rescue tug and it served at the Normandy landings during World War 2. After the war, the ship was sold and renamed Saint Christopher, where it was chartered for salvage operations in Beagle Channel.
12) Take a photo at the Ushuaia City Sign
This is an iconic photo-op to show you made it to the end of the world.
13) Hike in Tierra del Fuego National Park
This is a very easy day trip from Ushuaia seeing as the park is located just 12 kilometres west of the city. This park consists of subantarctic forest and boasts some dramatic landscapes featuring snow-capped mountains, forests, lagoons and pebbly coves. One of our favourite hikes was Senda Costera, which is the coastal trail along the Beagle Channel.
14) Visit Lapataia Bay
This part of the national park features 6 mini trails that are between 400 meters and 2 kilometres in length. They are very short hikes and easy.
15) Send mail from the Southernmost Post Office
This tiny post office sits atop a pier on the shores of the Beagle Channel and it’s the last chance to send mail before reaching Antarctica.
16) Ride the Train at the End of the World
Once upon a time, this was known as the train of prisoners, but today, the train has been developed into a heritage train and it’s considered the southernmost functioning railway in the world.
17) Take a Day trip to Tolhuin
This is a small town located an hour and a half away from Ushuaia. The main draw to this town is its famous bakery, where you can enjoy all sorts of pastries, empanadas, and even artisanal chocolates. Aside from that, there is a beautiful lake and a few hiking trails.

Welcome to Mostar! In today’s video we’re showing you around one of the great gems of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar was one of the many stops of our travels through the Balkans, but it ranked right at the very top! This city is as postcard-perfect as they come, complete with Ottoman constructions, soaring minarets, and colourful buildings that overlook the emerald waters of the Neretva River. Our time here was spent wandering through the markets, sampling local dishes, and visiting a few mosques and museums along the way, so come and join us in this travel guide as we show you around Mostar (Мостар) and give you a few ideas for your own trip!
This street is lined with restaurants, cafes, and hotels, but as you approach the famed Old Bridge, it turns into a bit of a bazaar with small shops that are bursting at the seams with souvenirs.
Stari Most, also known as the Old Bridge, which is the city’s main landmark. This 16th-century Ottoman bridge joins the two parts of the city across the River Neretva.
And that’s a wrap for Mostar! This was one of our favourite destinations of 2017.
With its Ottoman architectural wonders, delicious dishes served in heaping platters, and warm locals who take hospitality to a whole new level, there’s a lot to love about the city! Mostar is strikingly beautiful, but it’s the people who give the place its soul.
Yes, the city’s been through a lot, and it still bears the scars of a horrible war fought in the 90s, but Mostar has picked itself up and is showing visitors all it has to offer.

Today we’re visiting a really cool city that’s full of contrasts. Leipzig is a place that offers a wonderful mix of lush green spaces with canals, gritty industrial areas that have been given new life, and a beautiful city centre that oozes history.
Over the course of our visit we got to see that Leipzig is a city of many faces, and a few locals even told us the city has earned the nickname 'hype-zig' because it feels like a younger up and coming version of Berlin.
