Dinslaken hat das noch vor sich, was andere Ruhrgebietsstädte schon lange hinter sich haben: Den Wandel. Erst 2005 wurde hier die Zeche Lohberg geschlossen, auf dem ehemaligen Areal ist vor einigen Monaten der Bergpark entstanden. Wir haben uns das Gelände angeguckt - außerdem schlendern wir durch das Mühlendorf Hiesfeld, besuchen den Hof Emschermündung sowie die Rheinauen.

Die Tour beginnt am Freizeitzentrum Grafenmühle (Motorradtreff) Die ganze Strecke durch den Grafenwald habe ich mir gespart ( rechs meines Weges durch den Grafenwald iegt der Heidsee) aufzunehmen und geht dann direkt am Anfang des Rotbach-Weg weiter über den Rotbachsee und zur historischen Wassermühle am Rotbach.
Die Grafenmühle (dort gab es mal eine Mühle) ist ein Naturschutzgebiet Bottrop Stadtbezirk Kirchhellen Stadtteil Grafenwald. In unmittelbarer Nähe der Angelpark zur Grafenmühle.
Das Gebiet gehörte mal einem Grafen von Merfeldt zu Lembeck. Das Schloss Lembeck mit seinem Freizeitpark befindet sich dort auch in der Nähe. sowie auch der bekannte Movie-Park.
Der Name Grafenwald erscheint das erste mal im Jahre 1825.
Die Quelle des Rotbachs ( früher auch rothe Bache oder in einer Urkunde de roje Beek genannt) entspringt in Oberhausen- Königshart und hat eine länge von 21,9 km. Der 19,8km lange Rotbach- Weg (Rotbach-Route) von Bottrop (Kirchhellen) Grafenmühle folgt dem Bach als Rad- und Fußgängerweg bis zu seiner Mündung in den Rhein. Die Geschichte der Wassermühlenwird anschaulich im Dinslaken- Hiesfeld Mühlenmuseum präsentiert. Insgesamt gab es mal Mühlen.
Der Rotbachsee in Dinslaken gehört mit zum Naturschutzgebiet Hiesfelder Wald und ist auch durch die beiden Inseln in der Mitte ein Vogelparadies.

The tour begins at the leisure center Grafenmühle (motorcycle club) Rotbach.
The Grafenmühle (there used to be a mill there) is a nature reserve in Bottrop, in the Kirchhellen district of Grafenwald. In the immediate vicinity of the Grafenmühle fishing park.
The area once belonged to a Count of Merfeldt zu Lembeck. Lembeck Castle with its amusement park is also nearby. as well as the famous Movie Park.
The name Grafenwald appears for the first time in 1825.
The source of the Rotbach (formerly also called rothe Bache or in a document de roje Beek) rises in Oberhausen- Königshart and is 21.9 km long. The 19.8 km long Rotbach-Weg from Bottrop (Kirchhellen) Grafenmühle follows the creek as a cycle and pedestrian path to its confluence with the Rhine. The history of the water mills is presented in the Dinslaken-Hiesfeld mill museum. All in all, there used to be mills.
The Rotbachsee in Dinslaken is part of the Hiesfeld Forest nature reserve and is also a bird paradise thanks to the two islands in the middle.

Hallo, es ist Sonntag und sonnig um 8:15 Uhr und ca. minus 2° Celsius Ende Februar 2023. Was kann man da besseres tun als mit der Kamera in drei bis vier Meter höhe durch die Oberhausener Innenstadt zu fliegen? :-) Eine fast leere Innenstadt und die Perspektive sind schon interessant.
Oberhausen:
Oberhausen war das Chicago des perußischen Westens und ist Kind der Eisenbahn, des Eisens und des Bergbaus und liegt mitten im Herzen des Ruhrgebiets!
Die Stadt Oberhausen schmückt sich gerne mit dem Titel Wiege der Ruhrindustrie. Viel älter als die Stadt selbst ist die Geschichte der Eisenhütten an diesem Ort. Als erste überhaupt im Ruhrgebiet wurde 1758 die St. Antony-Hütte gegründet. Mit den Hütten Gute Hoffnung und Neu-Essen folgten weitere. 1830 Hüttengewerkschaft Jacobi, Haniel und Huyssen, die 1810 aus der Vereinigung der drei Eisenhütten hervorgegangen war, mit dem Walzwerk Oberhausen den ersten Großbetrieb der Eisen- und Stahlindustrie im Ruhrgebiet.
1847 hielt der erste Zug im Oberhausener Bahnhof, damit fand der entscheidende Schritt für die Siedlungsentwicklung und nachfolgend für die Städtebildung Oberhausens statt. Und mit der Industrie kamen die Menschen und nur 10 Jahre nach dem Bahnhofsbau 1857 als eigentlichem Gründungsakt der Stadt, hatte sich ein Ring von Fabriken um den Bahnhof gelegt. 22 Förderschächte bestimmten im 20. Jahrhundert die Oberhausener Stadtkulisse.
Das Chicago des preußischen Westens
(von Fernreisenden oft genannt) ,was man hier sehen konnte, unterschied sich von der typischen deutschen Stadt.
Nicht Kirche und Markt waren Mittelpunkte, sondern Eisenbahn und Industrie.
Das Schachbrettmuster des Straßennetzes nahm die Stadtentwicklung vorweg.
