Mirpur Khas (Sindhi and Urdu: میرپور خاص; meaning Town of the most-high Mirs) is the capital city of the Mirpur Khas District and Mirpur Khas Division in the Sindh province, Pakistan. Mirpur Khas is the 5th largest city in Sindh province and the 33rd largest city of Pakistan. The city was built by Talpur rulers of Mankani branch. According to the 2017 Census of Pakistan, its population is 233,916.[2] Mirpur Khas is known for its mango cultivation, with hundreds of varieties of the fruit produced each year - it is also called the “City of Mangoes,” and has been home to an annual mango festival since 1955.[3] After the completion of Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas duel carriage way, the city has become hub of commercial activities.

The Changpas have a complicated relationship with snowfall. They need good winter snow for the grass to grow well during the summers. But too much snowfall can create trouble for them by burying the grass necessary for the survival of their animals.
A winter storm is the worst nightmare for the Changpas. And on the 3rd week of my living with the Changpas a winter storm is exactly what we got.

▶ Digri or Dhigri is named after the taller lady which was renowned as dighi in Sindhi means taller.
Digri is a small town where all communities are living in harmony. They speak languages of each other and every person has his due respect. 85 % population of Digri consists of the Sindhi community. Arain is in the majority in Digri Town. Mostly Sindhi, Urdu and Punjabi are popular languages of Digri. speaking in the town. In the early era of the town committee talpurs were chairing the committee however because of the internal strife of Dhigri around Sindhi communities they lost clout to the Mir Hayat Khan Talpur. There was an efflux of educated Lagharis families from Sanghar, Nawabshah, Badin and Mirpurkhas to Rahim Yar Khan (the border district of the Punjab— where the majority of Doctors and Engineers) serving in government and private sector are still these migrates, WAPDA and Pakistan Railway are not exceptions).
Balochs and Jadgals are residing in Baloch Colony, Ward No: 9, and a few of them in Mir Feteh Town, Ward No:11, Yousafabad. The Head of the Baloch and Jadgal community is Sardar Naveed Jadgal Baloch (District Vice-President of Pakistan People's Party) the son of Martyr Abdul Hameed Jadgal Baloch (District President of Pakistan People's Party) was a well-known personality and social worker in Digri city and even in Pakistan People's party. Martyr Abdul Hameed Jadgal Baloch was the nephew of martyr Seth Abdul Raheem Jadgal Baloch and cousin-brother of the Late Seth Umar Abdul Raheem Jadgal Baloch. Kapri residing in village Raees Nimro Khan Kapri and Raees Imambux Kapri, the head of ( Kapri people ) community is Raees Imambux Kapri mostly they belong to the government, non-government sector jobs, transport
In non-Muslims: Malhi, Darzi community which was basically named after their work in fields as a farmer, but now they are going to education side, from them some are abroad for higher studies, Maheshwari a non-muslim community-associated mainly with doctor profession as well as in engineering also, Kolhi a non-Muslim Sindhi tribe is mainly associated with agriculture farming. The Meghwar community of Dhigri was previously associated with farming, mason work, dispensary, and tailoring but nowadays they are receiving high-class education and serving in good positions, mostly in CSS.
In Digri mostly the Punjabi families are living in Yosafabad and Ghareebabad colonies. Research to Organize Sustainable Empowerment (ROSE) is a not-for-profit organization working for the development of Digri.
Now PPP (Pakistan Peoples Party) rules in Digri City. MPA of Dighri is Mir Muhammad Hayat Khan Talpur.
