There are altogether twenty Huts floating in the centre of the Tehri lake tied together giving the complete view of the entire Tehri lake and mountains surrounded all over and the Chanti Bridge nearby. The huts are well maintained and can be approached from the mainland by a speed boat kept for pick and drop. Tehri Lake is surrounded by hills with forest cover. The Le ROI, Floating Huts & Eco Rooms are well furnished and well maintained. There are proper arrangements for restaurant service so that guests can enjoy their daily meal along with the view. The staff are accommodative and look after your needs with a smile. The first sun rays on the lake water is a wonderful sight. The huts give one a nice feeling when it moves a bit with the waves.

Sasaram is an ancient city and is believed that a demon named 'Sahastrabahu' lived around here from the age of 'Ramayana'. Sahastrabahu was killed by Parsuram. Earlier the name of the city was Sahasram, initials of Sahasrabahu and Parsuram. it is also believed that the name of the city Sasaram came from his name Sahastrabahu to Sahasram (Sahastrabahu + Parsuram) to Sasaram. Some historian also believed that name from Nikulakashakabasu, an ancient king and Parsuram, the warrior sage.

Sher Shah Suri, best remembered as the builder of Grand Trunk Road, connecting Dhaka (in present day Bangladesh) to Peshawar (in present day Pakistan) and running right across the north Indian heartland, was born in Sasaram and that is where this maginificient tomb stands.
Sher Shah Suri joined the Mughal Army as a private under a local commander and during Babur's rule rose through the ranks to become Governor of Bengal.
By the time he died in 1545 after a brief rule of five years at delhi, he had launched the Rupaya, the precursor of present day Indian Rupee. He was also credited with many civil and military reforms.
This was used by Humayun the Mughal Emperor who defeated Sher Shah to regain the Indian Empire for the Mughals as a library. In a strange twist of fate Humayun lost his life while climbing down the stairs of this building in a full moon night.

Tomb of Shershah Shuri:- This is the tomb of mighty ruler of India Sher Shah.It is situated in middle of a lake.The tomb is open for visitors round the year.And is managed by Archeological survey of India.
Tomb of Hasan Khan Suri:-There is another tomb of Hasan Khan Suri(Father of Sher Shah Suri) situated at a distance of about 500m from the Tomb of Sher Shah Suri.
The temple of Maa Tara Chandi and tomb of Chandan Shaheed are both situated on the Chandan Shaheed Hill. The Maa Tara Chandi temple is famous for the idol of Tara-Chandi, while tomb of Chandan Shaheed is an old mosque that belongs to the reign of Jehangir. Along with Maa Tara Chandi temple, the Chaurasan Mandir is another popular temple of Sasaram and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is also a Ganesh temple situated around.
The Kaimur Hills also provide an access to many other attractions of Sasaram like Gupta Mahadev temple, Parvati temple, ancient caves, tomb of Malik Wishal Khan and Bhaluni Dam. Manjhar Kund and Dhua Kund are two waterfalls of this town that have the capacity of generating large amount of electricity.
The other attractions are tomb of Hasan Khan Sur, Samrat Ashok Pillar, Sukha Rauza and Ashokan Inscription and Rock-cut caves along with Diwan-E-Khas and Diwan-E-Aam. It also has a ‘baulia’, which used to be the bathing area of the kings who resided in the ancient time.
The village of Deo Markandeya provides an access to the popular temples of Lord Vishnu and Sun God, while the village of Dehri, situated at 17 km from Sasaram is home to several lesser known Muslim tombs.

Litti is a snack food found in India's Bihar state; it consists of balls of wheat and sattu (powdered gram) formed into balls with spices, and then filled with ghee (clarified butter) via a hole. It may be eaten with yogurt, baigan bharta, alu bharta, and papad. The litti are traditionally baked over a cow-dung fire,but in the modern day a wok of boiling oil may be used.

Tutla Bhawani waterfall also known as Tutula Bhavani or Tutla Dham is located nearby Tilouthu and is approximately 20 Km southwest of Dehri on Sone. This place is known for the temple of Goddess Maa Tutleshwari Bhawani and the incredible waterfall. Maa Tutla Bhawani waterfall is the most beautiful and famous tourist place in Bihar far away from the noise and pollution of the city, the hilly view with the waterfall and greenery is really amazing and attracts people.
Goddess Maa Tutleshwari Bhawani temple is the very ancient one and according to the inscription, worship has been going on here since before the eighth century. In the video, you can see the inscriptions and their translation.
Maa Tutla Bhawani mandir is located around 150 KM from Varanasi, 160 KM from Patna, and 140 KM from Gaya. To reach here, the nearest railway station is Dehri on Sone. By road reach Dehri on Sone via National Highway Kolkata-Delhi NH-19 (NH-02 old). From Dehri take Dehri-Nauhatta-Yadunathpur Road NH-119 for 20 KM and reach Tilouthu Bazar. Just after Bazar, you'll find a Sign Board of Tutla Bhawani Waterfall. You can use Google Maps or ask locals.
