Einfach mal raus und ab aufs Fahrrad.
Wir nehmen Euch mit auf eine Tagestour mit 82Km Länge, durchs schöne Weserbergland bzw. Leinebergland.
Start und Ziel liegen in Stadtoldendorf im Landkreis Holzminden, es ging über Linnenkamp, Denkiehausen, Mackensen, Dassel, Hilwartshausen, Lauenberg, Fredelsloh, Moringen, Northeim, Einbeck, Juliusmühle, Markoldendorf, Erichsburg, Lüthorst und Wangelnstedt wieder nach Stadtoldendorf.
Die Tour ist hier bei Komoot verfügbar, allerdings wurden die letzten 4 Km nicht mehr aufgezeichnet:

GERMANY: Schwalenberg village - panoramic views
Schwalenberg is popular with tourists, who come to the rolling hills to see the Burg (now a hotel-restaurant), the 16th-century town hall, and the half-timbered houses lining the cobblestone main street.
The village is located in the Lippe district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated approx. 20 km east of Detmold.
Schwalenberg was probably founded in the 10th century. The early history of the town is linked to the fortunes of the Count of Schwalenberg, the medieval lord of the castle.
In the municipal reorganization of the early 70's, Schwalenberg joined forces with its neighbor Schieder to form the town of Schieder-Schwalenberg.

Wo gibt es Palmen, Affengebrüll und ein mediterranes Gefühl in Niedersachsen? Genau, im Kurbad Bad Pyrmont. Dorthin sind wir mit dem Wohnmobil gereist.
Ein Wochenende lang haben wir die besondere Atmosphäre genossen.
Wir zeigen Eindrücke vom Stellplatz und aus der Stadt, machen eine Radtour zum Schieder See nach NRW und geniessen die Zeit im Kurpark.
Ach übrigens, da es im Video unerwähnt bleibt: Für Kurkarteninhaber ist der Eintritt im Kurpark kostenlos. Alle anderen zahlen 5 EUR (Erwachsene). Kurkarteninhaber können auch abends 3 Stunden länger den Park betreten.

DER DIEMELRADWEG ZWISCHEN BAD KARLSHAFEN UND TRENDELBURG
Bad Karlshafen am Weser Radweg ist der Endpunkt vom 112 Kilometer langem Diemel Radweg, der an der Diemel-Quelle beginnt. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es gerade mal 15 Kilometer von Bad Karlshafen bis Trendelburg, aber allein auf dieser kurzen Fahrradroute und in der direkten Umgebung von Bad Karlshafen gibt es so viel zu entdecken, dass es für einen Tagesausflug reicht. Auf dieser Tour zeige ich euch viele schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten, die auf diesem Fahrradweg erkundet werden können.

Dassel ist eine Kleinstadt im südlichen Niedersachsen.
Dassel ist unter anderem durch die ruhige Lage am nördlichen Rand des Solling und die Vielzahl an gut erhaltenen Fachwerkhäusern in der Innenstadt bekannt.
Der Ort ist eine der frühesten Gründungen der Region. Aus der Zeit der Verleihung der Stadtrechte im Jahr 1315 haben sich Abschnitte der Stadtmauer erhalten.

The Shrine of the Three Kings, Tomb of the Three Kings, or Tomb of the Three Magi is a reliquary traditionally ascribed as containing the bones of the Biblical Magi, also known as the Three Kings or the Three Wise Men. The shrine is a large gilded and decorated triple sarcophagus placed above and behind the high altar of Cologne Cathedral. It is considered the high point of Mosan art and the largest reliquary in the western world.
The relics of the Magi were originally situated at Constantinople, but brought to Milan in an oxcart by Eustorgius I, the city's bishop, to whom they were entrusted by the Emperor Constantine in 314. The relics of the Magi were taken from church of Saint Eustorgio in Milan by Holy Roman Emperor Fredrick Barbarossa and given to the Archbishop of Cologne, Rainald of Dassel, eight centuries later, in 1164. The Three Kings have since attracted a constant stream of pilgrims to Cologne.
The Shrine of the Three Kings is approximately 43 inches (110 cm) wide, 60 inches (153 cm) high, and 87 inches (220 cm) long. It is shaped like a basilica: two sarcophagi stand next to each other, with the third sarcophagus resting on their roof ridges. The ends are completely covered, so there is no space visible between the sarcophagi. The basic structure is made of wood, with gold and silver overlay decorated with filigree, enamel, and over 1000 jewels and beads. The latter include a large number of cameos and intaglio pieces, some pre-Christian.
The entire outside of the shrine is covered with an elaborate decorative overlay. There are 74 high relief figures in silver-gilt in all, not counting smaller additional figures in the background decoration. On the sides, images of the prophets decorate the lower part, while images of the apostles and evangelists decorate the upper part. On one end, there are (across the bottom, from left to right) images of the Adoration of the Magi, Mary enthroned with the infant Jesus, and the Baptism of Christ, and above, Christ enthroned at the Last Judgement. The other end shows scenes of the Passion: the scourging of Christ (lower left) and his crucifixion (lower left) with the resurrected Christ above. This end also has a bust of Rainald of Dassel in the center.

Cologne Cathedral - it is Germany's most visited landmark, attracting an average of 20,000 people a day.
The Cologne Cathedral is a cathedral of superlatives, landmark and center of the Rhine metropolis. The cornerstone of the Gothic cathedral was laid on August 15, 1248 for the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The old cathedral was apparently no longer representative enough to house the relics of the Three Kings, which Archbishop Rainald von Dassel had brought to the cathedral city from conquered Milan in 1164. These relics made the cathedral one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Europe. The mighty pair of towers - the north tower (157.38 m) is 7 cm higher than the south tower, which has a viewing platform - has dominated the panorama of the city since its completion in 1880.
To this day, the cathedral is the second tallest building in Cologne after the telecommunications tower. There is space for more than 20,000 people on the almost 8,000 square meter area of the cathedral. The impressive Gothic architecture, the shrine of the Three Kings, the outstanding stained glass and many other important works of art in the interior led to the UNESCO declaring Cologne Cathedral a World Heritage Site in 1996.

Construction of Cologne Cathedral commenced in 1248 and was halted in 1473, leaving it unfinished. Work restarted in the 19th century and was completed, to the original plan, in 1880.
It was the tallest building in the world from from 1880 to 1884.
It is 144.5 metres (474 ft) long, 86.5 m (284 ft) wide and its towers are approximately 157 m (515 ft) tall.
Cologne's medieval builders had planned a grand structure to house the reliquary of the Three Kings and fit its role as a place of worship for the Holy Roman Emperor.
In 1164, the Archbishop of Cologne, Rainald of Dassel acquired the relics of the Three Kings.The foundation stone was laid on 15 August 1248, by Archbishop Konrad von Hochstaden.
