Deadliest Journeys - Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea is one of the world's last lawless lands lying 150 kilometres north of Australia. The town of Lae is the economic capital of the country here it more commonly goes by the name Pothole city.

It's a sorry sight with its battered roads it's packed mini buses and it's extreme levels of poverty. In the streets uncertainty reigns and the police are ineffective trying to keep law and order the locals call upon private security companies.

Papua New Guinea has one of the highest crime rates on the planet. Papua New Guinea is an island half as big as France but with a road network that practically does not exist. There are just 3 main roads that are barely tarmac and yet road transport is vital for the country.

All You Need To Know About Papua New Guinea | Papua New Guinea Documentary in Urdu and Hindi

This video is a documentary on Papua New Guinea in Urdu and Hindi. This video contains all you need to know about Papua New Guinea. Papua New Guinea officially the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, is a country in Oceania that comprises the eastern half of the island of New Guinea and its offshore islands in Melanesia (a region of the southwestern Pacific Ocean north of Australia). Its capital, located along its southeastern coast, is Port Moresby. It is the world's third-largest island country with an area of 462,840 km2 (178,700 sq mi).
At the national level, after being ruled by three external powers since 1884, Papua New Guinea established its sovereignty in 1975. This followed nearly 60 years of Australian administration, which started during World War I. It became an independent Commonwealth realm in 1975 with Elizabeth II as its queen. It also became a member of the Commonwealth of Nations in its own right.

After 10 years, I have returned to the country that I enjoyed THE LEAST in all of my travels… Brunei. It’s a tiny country on Borneo island, sandwiched in between Malaysia and Indonesia, and I was very nervous to go back. Why? Because my last video there was all about how much I hated it, and I was so worried that I would be thrown in jail by the government, or even yelled at by the locals…. But this time around, I went in with fresh eyes and a new perspective, and I really enjoyed it!!!

I met up with a local Bruneian friend from Instagram named Bryant, and he took me under his wing to show me his version of Brunei. And what we discovered will seriously blow your mind!!

ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಸ್ವಾಗತ ????????South Sudan | Dr Bro

Namaskara Devru!
Welcome to South Sudan, one of the largest countries in Africa. Today, we embark on a journey through a land ravaged by civil wa* and natural disasters. Despite the challenges, the resilient people of south Sudan strive for a better future. Join me as we explore this nation with a mix of hope and empathy.

Sudan's history has been marred by civil war, causing the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives and leaving many missing. Devastating rainstorms have turned the cities into chaotic battlegrounds. The people of south Sudan have endured enough hardships, and it's time for their voices to be heard. I have decided to spend two week in this country, determined to capture its essence.

Entering South Sudan, tourists often fear recording videos or even walking freely. However, with your blessings, I courageously document the reality of this nation. Let's begin by exploring South Sudan, a newly formed country in 2011. Poverty looms large here, with the main income derived from petroleum, which is controlled by a privileged few. This is Juban, where heavy mobile phones are a rare sight, limited to African countries alone.

Sudan's wealth distribution is stark, with extreme disparities between the rich and the poor. Unfortunately, a large majority falls into the latter category. The government's systematic approach to addressing poverty is lacking, leaving many struggling to survive. The absence of sufficient jobs and educational opportunities compounds their hardships. Witnessing their plight fills me with profound sadness.

To alleviate their struggles, Western countries provide donations for the basic needs of the Sudanese people. These communities have only existed in cities for the past 50 years, and they are reluctant to allow photography or videography within their areas. They are cautious, often instigating conflicts and meticulously verifying my documents. Yet, I managed to navigate these challenges.

Within Sudan, various tribes coexist, although not always harmoniously. Deep-rooted rivalries lead to group formations armed with weapons. Conflicts often erupt over access to crops, resulting in minimal local farming and dependence on imports from neighboring countries like Uganda and Kenya. The high prices further exacerbate the poverty crisis.

Amidst the struggles, I encountered charging stations operated by local men, while women enjoyed their meals, finding solace in moments of togetherness. A sense of unity shines through their resilience. Additionally, I witnessed a vibrant celebration promoting Mia's newly launched phone, where the community danced with unbridled joy.

I hope this video has offered you a glimpse into the realities of Sudan. Let us empathize with their struggles and strive for a brighter future. Until we meet again, tata, bye-bye...

Hope you Enjoyed this Video!

Police are AFRAID to arrest Criminals - Inside Crime in PNG Tribes

The Police took us inside a festival where they are afraid to arrest people and some tribes were afraid to attend. We flew to Mount Hagen in the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea for a tribal gathering and met the police who gave us insight into their struggles dealing with tribal culture. The attendance was down at the festival with election issues in nearby areas. Papua New Guinea is known to have some of the most dangerous cities in the world and crime in PNG is a major problem. But it is important to mention that all the people we met were super friendly and nice.

Daru Trip 28-29 Mar 2010.wmv

A 300km round trip from Kawito (Aramia River) down and around the coast to Daru and return.
Departed 4am Sunday and arrived back at base 4am Tuesday.

On the return trip up the Bamu river, we met 3 meter high bore and fought with it for over 3hrs and survived it. Unless you have been into one, you will never know its terrifying reality. Its one experience etched very clear in my mind.
