Best Things to do at Gulf State Park | Best State Park in Alabama | Gulf Shores 2021
Have you ever been locked out of your trailer while on vacation? Well, that is exactly what happened to us during our visit to Gulf State Park. Luckily it wasn’t too bad of an experience, and we still had an amazing trip.
For Daphne and my birthday we try to always take a beach trip. This year we chose Gulf Shores in Alabama.
This is our first camping trip in Alabama. We have always heard good things about the Gulf Shore Beaches, so we decided to finally check it out.
Gulf State Park is a huge park. Which means it has a lot of campers, but it also means it has a lot of amenities.
Fun family activities at Gulf SP include:
- Swimming pool
- Beach access
- Nature center
- Paved bike trails
- Multiple playgrounds
- Lake for boating
- Snow cone stand
- Hammock park
- Fishing at the pier
We had a great time. We also went parasailing for the first time and had so much fun. We were worried Daphne might be scared but she had a blast.
