Travelling Australia: Cooyar, Dalby and Moonie! Heading West!
We head west out of Maidenwell towards Cooyar to grab a coffee from former Australian Super bike racer Garry McCoy’s history rich cafe! After this we keep heading west into Dalby for a restock and great walk around the Myall creek parklands!

Mitchell | Augathella | Tambo | Blackall | Barcaldine - Adventure 16
We had a busy week! First we drive from St George to Mitchell, spend the afternoon in the Artesian Spas and free camp at Neil Turner Weir right next to the river. Then we drove on to Augathella after a lunch stop at Morven. In Augathella we check out the silo art, the giant meat ant and camp in the free camp (for a small donation). The next day we set out for Tambo. We stopped for lunch and had a walk of the Main Street. Lovely town however we decided to continue on and spend a couple of nights at Blackall Showground. Our camp was right next to the aquatic centre. What an awesome pool! Blackall Campdraft was on so time to move on to Barcaldine. Barcaldine is home to the Tree of Knowledge. Lots of history, plenty to explore. We stayed at the Showgrounds and were able to walk to town and over to the Barcaldine Races. We really enjoyed our time in all of these country towns who look like they are in need of a few visitors - so get out there and pay them a visit! Until next time...
