होट्टल हे चलुक्याच्या संस्कृती राजधानी च ठिकाण.चालुक्य राजा विक्रमादित्य यांनी बांधलेले अनेक मंदिरे आहेत.या सिद्धेश्वर मंदिराच्या भिंतीवर अनेक मुर्त्या कोरल्या आहेत. या मंदीरात १८ स्तंभ आहेत व मंदीराला तिन्ही बाजुने ४ ,४ स्तंभा आहेत,तिन्ही बाजुने प्रवेश करता येते. मंदीराच्या सर्व बाजुने सुंदर मुर्त्या कोरलेले आहेत.या मंदीरावर सुरेख अशी नृत्य करताना श्री गणेशाची मुर्ति डाव्या बाजुला पहायला मिळते. या गणेश मुर्तीच्या बाजुला एक दगडी घट बसवलेला आहे. त्यात बाहेरुन पाणी ओतल्यास थेट गर्भगृहातील महादेवाच्या पिंडीवर पडेल अशी रचना केली आहे. आहे .शंकराच्या व गज लक्ष्मीच्या मुर्त्या पहायला मिळतात.व मंदीरात मोठी नंदी आहे. महादेवाची मोठी पिंड आहे. मंदीराच्या प्रवेश द्वाराजवळ वास्तुशिल्पात ( शरभशिल्प)रक्षक उभे आहेत.
