在沙漠荒野，竟然有個大涼亭坐落在山洞裡
然而, 隨著社群軟體的散播，
參訪的遊客與日俱增，過去短短幾個月裡，
沙丘的高度已經下降了30英尺以上.... （悲）
不敢想像 少了沙丘的 Chamber 是不是還有魔力？
Cutler Coast | Backpacking | Hiking | Camping
Spread across 12,234-acre, Cutler Coast, Maine is one of the best backpacking destinations in New England offering about 11 miles of trails with lush forest, beautiful wildflowers, bold coastline, and whale watching opportunity. This was one of the most anticipated backpacking trips for us. We started the trip on early Friday afternoon of September 3rd, drove around 340 miles to reach Cutler, stayed in a nearby motel that night, and began backpacking the next morning. Watch the video as some rookie backpackers (with very little drinking water) try to make the best out of their 3 days in the wilderness of Bold Coast.

The Belly of the Dragon is 16 miles north of Kanab. Turn west into the campground and go left. It is a very short drive to the mouth of the tunnel.
Cutler Point, aka The Great Chamber is tough to get to. It is a series of tight back roads that have deep sand. Visit the local information center for exact directions and road conditions. There are several tour companies in Kanab that can get you there safely without the worry. Try Action Photo Tours. They will take you at ideal times for photography.

The 13.5-mile Old Cutler Trail goes through in Miami area under the cover of magnificent fichus trees and banyans. Popular stops along the way include Matheson Hammock Park, Fairchild Tropical Garden, and Pinecrest Gardens.
The trail is best-suited for individuals and families who enjoy a leisurely walk or ride. Although inline skating is permissible, much of the route is rippled with tree roots.
Old Cutler Trail spans 13.5 mi. from Old Cutler Road and SW 224th St. (Cutler Bay) to Old Cutler Road and Cocoplum Road (Coral Gables).

Explore a super scenic hike that doesn't take a ton of effort to do as we climb Mount Cutler in North Cheyenne Canon Park outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado. It doesn't take long to enjoy the majesty of the Rocky Mountains as this beautiful area lies only 10-15 minutes from the heart of Colorado Springs. Close to the historic Broadmoor Hotel, this short, but decently steep hike provides amazing views of the Rockies and of the city throughout.

Boord State Nature Preserve (Cutler Ohio) Family Day Hike - March 2020
A day hike with my family including our 5 year old daughter at Boord State Nature Preserve. The trail is just under a one mile loop with different types of forest growth and a waterfall!
From the Ohio DNR website: Boord contains one of the best examples of hemlock ravine in Washington County and the surrounding area. The preserve's state-listed species include rock skullcap, narrow-leaved toothwort, and golden-knees.
Falls Run cuts through a massive layer of Permian-age sandstone to form the heart of this preserve which is an eastern hemlock-shrouded stream gorge 60-80 feet deep. Numerous scenic cliffs and overhangs occur along this ravine.
The preserve honors the Boord family of Dayton, Ohio, who made a partial gift of this preserve to the division in 1986.
The dry hilltops are dominated by oak-hickory mature wood along with Virginia pine and mountain laurel. Yellow birch, cherry birch and eastern hemlock grow on northerly exposures. It is an excellent site for viewing woodland spring wildflowers.

Located 4.5 miles east of Bartlett, Ohio follow State Route 550 to County Road 6. Proceed .75 mile south on County Road 6 to Twp. Road 69. The signed preserve is .5 mile west on Twp. Road 69. (I added this location to Google Maps a couple years ago).
