Azerbaijan is the largest country in the Caucasus and variously considered part of Europe or Asia. The country lies on the Caspian Sea. It borders Russia and Georgia to the north, Armenia to the west, and Iran in the south. Through the autonomous exclave of Nakhchivan, which lies between Armenia and Iran, Azerbaijan also shares a short border with Turkey.

Azerbaijan is known for having nine of the 11 defined ecological zones. Much of the country is temperate year-round. Nation-wide the average temperature for the year is 14-15°C (57-59°F). The Caucasus Mountains protect the country from the Arctic air masses that affect Russia in winter while the Caspian Sea shields it from the hot, dry air of Central Asia in the summer.
Cabbage, grape leaves, and eggplant wrapped meat (kelem, yarpaq, badimjan - dolmasi), kabab (kebab), rice with different variety of toppings (plov - It is said that plov is the king of Azerbaijani cuisine), gutabs and meatballs (kufta) are some of the several specialties of Azerbaijan.
Some local drinks include ayran (a yogurt drink based on sour milk) and sherbet (made from rose petals or saffron). There are also different sorts of quite decent wines produced from local grapes and a wide array of mineral waters from natural springs. In some areas of Azerbaijan the markets offer lemonades (limonat/dushes) made from pears or taragon.
There is a good selection of hotels in Baku, including many Western chains, but options elsewhere in the country are limited. Prices for the hotels start from USD60 and higher. Rental apartments might be a good choice as they are cheaper than hotels and sometimes are even more comfortable.

Vizesiz ve pasaportsuz gidilebilecek ülkeler arasında yerini alan Azerbaycan Nahçıvan'a araba ile Dilucu sınır kapısından pasaportsuz ve vizesiz sadece kimlikle Azerbaijan Naxcivan Özerk Cumhuriyetine geçilebiliyor. Türk kapısı Nahçıvan gezi videomuzun ilk bölümünde başkent Nahçıvan'ın sokaklarını dolaşarak, esnafla sohbet ederek, plansız programsız bir kaşif gibi birçok yeri keşfetmeye çalıştık. Bu şehir mimarisi ile sokak düzeni ile Nahçıvan'ın bölgeleri olan Ordubad, Culfa, Sederek, Babek, Şerur, Kengerli ve Şahbuz da sıcak kanlı ve misafirperver insanları ile bizi kendine hayran bırakan Azerbaycan Türkü kardeşlerimize buradan çok teşekkür ediyoruz. Jolfa Street Driving and Walking | A city in the Border of Azarbijan & Armenia I Free Zone Area
Aras Free Trade - Industrial Zone (abbreviated as AFZ) is located in the Northwest of Iran at the border point with neighboring Armenia, Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.[1] According to the Decree No. 20708/T/530820, dated 28 June 2005 by the Board of Ministers, the area of the Aras Free Zone included 9,700 hectares of the lands of the region. This area was expanded on 4 December 2008 to 51,000 hectares based on the new decree of this Board, including some parts of the Jolfa and Kaleybar towns. This approved area in the attached part has increased the main district from 9,700 hectares to 20,500 hectares, and in three detached parts makes up totally 51,000 hectares of entire Aras Free Zone including a part of the Kaleibar city with the area of 24,000 hectares (called Gholi Beig Lou) and the vicinity of Khodafarin Dam with the area of 6,100 hectares as well as the district of Norduz Customs (Iran-Armenia border) with the area of 240 hectares.
This organization was established by the decree of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on 24 August 2003 in order to accelerate the economic development of this region.

IRAN 2022 - Aras River is the border line of Iran, Nakhchivan, Armenia and Azerbaijan 4K
The Aras (also known as the Araks, Arax, Araxes, or Araz) is a river in the Caucasus. It rises in eastern Turkey and flows along the borders between Turkey and Armenia, between Turkey and the Nakhchivan exclave of Azerbaijan, between Iran and both Azerbaijan and Armenia, and, finally, through Azerbaijan where it flows into the Kura river. It drains the south side of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains while the Kura drains the north side of the Lesser Caucasus. The river's total length is 1,072 kilometres (666 mi) and its watershed covers an area of 102,000 square kilometres (39,000 sq mi). The Aras is one of the longest rivers in the Caucasus.

Aras River / the border between Iran and Azerbaijan
Aras River is located near the border city of Jolfa, Jolfa is one of the cities of Iran. The length of this river is nearly 1072 km and it is full of water in all seasons of the year.and 3 Iranian border guards who fought to protect this border.And also near this river there is a church called shepherd.
Der Fluss Aras liegt in der Nähe der Grenzstadt Jolfa, Jolfa ist eine der Städte des Iran. Die Länge dieses Flusses beträgt fast 1072 km und ist zu jeder Jahreszeit mit Wasser gefüllt.
und 3 iranische Grenzschutzbeamte, die für den Schutz dieser Grenze gekämpft haben.
Und auch in der Nähe dieses Flusses gibt es eine Kirche namens Hirte.
La rivière Aras est située près de la ville frontalière de Jolfa, Jolfa est l'une des villes d'Iran. La longueur de cette rivière est de près de 1072 km et elle est pleine d'eau en toutes saisons de l'année.et 3 gardes-frontières iraniens qui se sont battus pour protéger cette frontière.
Et aussi près de cette rivière il y a une église appelée berger.

رود ارس در نزدیکی شهر مرزی جلفا قرار دارد، جلفا یکی از شهرهای ایران است. طول این رودخانه نزدیک به 1072 کیلومتر است و در تمام فصول سال پر آب است.و 3 مرزبان ایرانی که برای حفاظت از این مرز جنگیدند.و همچنین در نزدیکی این رودخانه کلیسایی به نام چوپان وجود دارد.
يقع نهر أراس بالقرب من مدينة جلفا الحدودية ، وهي إحدى مدن إيران. يبلغ طول هذا النهر حوالي 1072 كم وهو مليء بالمياه في جميع فصول السنة.و 3 من حرس الحدود الإيرانيين قاتلوا لحماية هذه الحدود.وبالقرب من هذا النهر توجد كنيسة تسمى الراعي.
अरास नदी सीमावर्ती शहर जोल्फा के पास स्थित है, जोल्फा ईरान के शहरों में से एक है। इस नदी की लंबाई लगभग 1072 किमी है और यह साल के सभी मौसमों में पानी से भरी रहती है।
और 3 ईरानी सीमा रक्षक जिन्होंने इस सीमा की रक्षा के लिए लड़ाई लड़ी।
और इस नदी के पास भी एक चर्च है जिसे चरवाहा कहा जाता है।

Flame Towers (Azerbaijani: Alov qüllələri) is a group of three skyscrapers in Baku, Azerbaijan. The height of the tallest tower is 182 m (597 ft).[4] The three flame-shaped towers are intended to symbolize the elements of fire, and are a reference to Azerbaijan's nickname The Land of Fire, historically rooted in a region where natural gas flares emit from the ground and Zoroastrian worshippers considered flames to be a symbol of the divine (notably at the Ateshgah of Baku and Yanar Dag).
