Why go to Torreón Mexico? (A Guide for Gringos)
Torreon Mexico isn't in the guide books, but it should be! It's definitely a place worth stopping in to visit. It's known as the land of the noas where the cactus noa grows. It's part of the Laguna region in Coahuila Mexico.
Top sites to visit would be: Cristo de las Noas, Canal de la Perla, Arocena Museum, el Bosque Park.

Mexico City–Phoenix TIME-LAPSE roadtrip
This video is the result of a of a 4-day roadtrip time-lapse recording, from Mexico City to Phoenix. It was originally shot for personal entertainment and experimenting, but after watching it, I realized it was good enough to be shared to YouTube, and there were no other videos like this one (maybe there are other roadtrips, but not including as much detail as this one, besides the different styles). These 39 minutes are a mix of more than 125 different time-lapses shot across more than 2,500 km (more than 1,500 miles). The time format was set on the upper right corner as [hours.minutes], and the current road on the lower left corner, with a subtitle for the current STATE/city.

I know there are many details I should address:
This wasn't meant to be professional at all (it just was nice enough for me to share with you).
The production was improvised (though shot on iPhone 12 mini, the mount wasn't calibrated at all).
The recording speeds are different in all the clips (I wasn't able to adjust the speed to a fixed pace, it was automated by iOS).
Some parts of the journey are skipped (detours were necessary at some points because of closed roads, gas station/meal/restroom/break stops).
The video isn't clear and high quality at times (the max res is 1080p, and most of the time the windshield naturally got dirty).
There's no color correction at all (it is as natural as it was seen in person).
There's no music (couldn't find anything good enough for the 39 minutes; besides, it's more relaxing and you can play anything on top of it).
zACATECAS misspelled, instead of ZACATECAS (00:09:54).
(If you find something else, kindly let me know; I'll appreciate it and it will help me improve for the next video).

Que tal Plebes , en este video les dejo la segunda parte del nuestro recorrido por sierra de #Sinaloa y #Durango, también conocida como el espinazo del diablo, en el video anterior hicimos el trayecto por la libre y en este video hacemos el trayecto por la autopista, la famosa super carretera mazatlan-durango, en trayecto, nos llovió, hubo mucha neblina, nos paramos a comer y finalmente regresamos al calor mazatleco. El Pasado 06 de Septiembre visitamos el Municipio de Tepehuanes en el Estado de Durango, debido a las constantes precipitaciones en las sierras y regiones de sus alrededores, los ríos y arroyos se encuentran demasiado caudalosos llegando al punto de desbordarse.

Hola mis amigos. este es un mapa de la hermosa durango mexico. Durango no tiene salida al mar, limita con Chihuahua, Coahuila, Zacatecas, Nayarit y Sinaloa. Está dividido en 39 municipios, con base en la Constitución de México de 1917, y desde entonces se han realizado varias divisiones adicionales.
La Sierra Madre Occidental bloquea la humedad del Océano Pacífico, lo que afecta el clima local del estado. La región de Las Quebradas, ubicada sobre la cordillera y al noroeste del estado, tiene un clima subtropical húmedo. Con excepción de las elevaciones más altas, el resto del estado tiene climas templados y semiáridos. Es cálido y seco en el este, con algunas áreas templadas existentes en elevaciones más altas.
La mayor parte del estado es montañoso y muy boscoso, con la Sierra Madre Occidental cubriendo alrededor de dos tercios del estado. Como gran parte del norte de México, el estado ha trabajado para reforestar los bosques degradados de la Sierra Madre Occidental y la Sierra Madre Oriental. Los esfuerzos de reforestación se han centrado en la replantación de especies de árboles nativos, frente a los que se utilizan para la producción de madera. Sin embargo, la densidad de árboles en muchas áreas todavía es demasiado baja, especialmente en las laderas orientales de la Sierra Madre Occidental, donde la tala y la tala de árboles para actividades agrícolas es problemática.
Muchos ríos nacen en Durango, pero desembocan en otros estados mexicanos. Algunos de estos ríos desembocan en el Pacífico, o en la zona lacustre de La Comarca, mientras que uno, el Florida, desemboca en el Golfo de México.

El Semidesierto (a veces llamado Bolsón de Mapimí) está ubicado en el noreste del estado e incluye los municipios de Hidalgo, Mapimí (incluyendo la Zona del Silencio, Tlahualilo, San Pedro del Gallo, San Luis del Cordero, Nazas, Lerdo, Gómez Palacio, Cuencamé, Santa Clara, General Simón Bolívar y San Juan de Guadalupe, la mayor parte del terreno es plano y su clima es seco, las temperaturas son frías en invierno y cálidas en verano, estos municipios se clasifican como parte de el desierto de Chihuahua o en la zona de transición.El área es relativamente plana con algunas cadenas montañosas y una ligera inclinación hacia el interior del país.El área estuvo en un tiempo bajo el mar, pero hoy en día la vegetación consiste en matorrales, nopales, magueyes, nopales y otras plantas de zonas áridas Está delimitada por dos ríos: el Nazas y el Aguanaval La región cuenta con dos embalses: el Lázaro Cárdenas y el Francisco Zarco, ubicados entre los municipios de Cuencamé y Lerdo corbatas. Los animales que se pueden encontrar aquí incluyen coyotes, gavilanes, varias serpientes, búhos, camaleones, tarántulas y escorpiones. La mayoría de los recursos naturales económicamente importantes provienen de la minería, incluidos los yacimientos de oro, plata, hierro y mercurio. También hay grandes depósitos de mármol. It is also one of Mexico’s most isolated cities: you have to travel hours through the desert or the Sierra Madre mountains from here before you hit another significant settlement.
