Knapp 2000 Kilometer misst die Küstenlinie der Bretagne. Auf ihrem Weg rund um die westlichste Region Frankreichs nimmt sie jede Bucht, jeden Strand und jeden Hafen mit. Einmal die komplette Küste entlang reisen, war schon immer mein großer Traum. Da ich kein halbes Jahr Zeit für eine Wanderung auf dem GR34 – dem Küstenwanderweg – habe, nehme ich einen Mietwagen und fahre die versteckten Perlen der Küste ab. Immer auf der Suche nach den besten Naturhighlights.
Dieser Bretagne Roadtrip führt von Saint-Malo nach Guérande – von Nordost nach Südost, die gesamte Küste entlang. Unterwegs jagt ein Naturhighlight das nächste. Mit dem Fahrrad geht es durch Küstendörfer und verlassene Wälder, auf dem Kajak über Flüsse und zu Fuß auf einem der beeindruckendsten Wanderwege Europas entlang.
Zwischendurch geht es mal unter das Wasser beim Tauchen oder mit der Kraft des Windes beim Windsurfen übers Wasser. Diese Reise verspricht viele Aktivitäten, kleine Abenteuer und ist genau das Richtige für junge Aktivreisende.

Day 9 of 17 - 20th May: In the morning we take a boat in Morgat, where we look for some grottos along the coast. Then we continue to Cap de la Chevre. Well, as this place is not as beautiful like the one we visited yesterday (Pen Hir), we move on quickly to Concarneau.
Nice old town, maybe a bit overtourism.

France Roadtrip - Brittany to the Pyrenees - Top 5 places to visit
Back in 2019 we spent a wonderful 3 months travelling through France. This was our first European adventure. We travelled down the west coast until we reached the Pyrenees and then headed back north through the middle of the country. We really enjoyed the trip and saw so many magical places. We thought you might like to see some of our favourite stop overs. We have selected our top 10 locations - 5 going south and 5 on the return trip.
In this video we show you the Top 5 of the route south. We cover the highlights of the location and also show you the campsites we used when we visited. The first location is the 7000 year old site of the fantastic stones at Carnac, then onto the wonderful city of Nantes and the unique l'ile de Machine. Then onto the relaxing Ile de Re, a must for all cycling lovers. We scale the amazing Dune du Pilat and then we take the vintage wooden train to the top of La Rhune in the Pyrenees.

Solo hiking on the Crozon peninsula, Brittany, France - a silent hiking movie
About the hike :
In June 2022 I solo hiked/cycled a part of the GR34 footpath, all along the coast of the Crozon peninsula, Brittany, France. An Idyllic peninsula in Finistère Region, just next to Brest, France.
This is four day hike alone in the heart of the Armorica Regional Natural Park and Iroise Natural Marine Park.
