Eine unsere Touristen Attraktionen ist ein Ausflug in den National Park Los Haitises.
Backpacker, Individual Touristen Residenten, Auswandere ihr könnt einfach selber hinfahren. Schon in Sabana de la Mar, wird man euch fragen ob ihr eine tour machen wollt. Oder aber ihr fahr direkt in den National Park ( von Sabana de la Mar aus Richtung Altos / Paraiso Caño Hondo und kurz vorher rechts abbiegen ) Die kleinen Boote kosten ca. 2500 Peso. falls ihr nur eine kleine Gruppe oder sogar einzel Person seid.
Wer hier in Punta Cana in einem Alles Inklusive Hotel ist kann entweder beim Reiseleiter buchen oder bei einem der kleineren Anbietern. Diese findet ihr im internet, oder auch auf Facebook bzw. Instagram.
Die Bote fahren im National Park los, durch die Mangroven und dann in dei Bucht San Lorenzo. Man fährt vorbei an grün bewachsenen Felsen. Eine traumhafte Kulisse. Viele Vögel brüten hier. Die Ausflüge besuchen auch eine der Taino Höhlen die man hier entdeckt hat und die unter schutz stehen.
Hier wurde übrigens auch ein Teil von Piraten der Karibik gedreht. Der mit der Haitianischen Hexe :-)
Bei uns in der Dominikanischen Republik, ist immer was los :-)

Santo Domingo, il carnevale di La Vega ai tempi del Covid (01.04.21)
- In tempo di pandemia è scomparso anche il carnevale. Le manifestazioni programmate in Italia e in tutto il mondo per festeggiare questo particolare periodo dell'anno che cade solitamente a febbraio sono state annullate, rinviate, alcune a data da destinare, o in qualche caso, come a Venezia, realizzate on-line con un certo successo. Que hacer en SANTO DOMINGO y BANI en un día ???????? / Mi experiencia como guía turístico por 24 horas ????
En este video te muestro el recorrido que hice con mi amigo Cesar, quien visitó la República Dominicana desde Perú. Iniciamos el paseo en Baní donde visitamos la reserva Natural Las Dunas de las calderas, únicas en la región del Caribe. Allí puedes disfrutar de la naturaleza y lanzarte en una tabla por la montaña de arena, actividad conocida como Sandboarding.
Para trasladarte desde Santo Domingo a Baní, puedes tomar una guagua (Bus) desde el parque Enriquillo, con un costo de RD$175.00 por trayecto.
Transporte Baní - Salinas: RD$100.00 por persona por trayecto
Costo de entrada a las Dunas: RD$100.00 por persona
Renta de Sandboard: RD$200.00
Luego de visitar las Dunas nos trasladamos al centro de la ciudad de Baní para conocer la Catedral Nuestra Señora de Regla y almorzar en el Restaurante Medina’s
Salimos con ruta a Santo Domingo, haciendo una primera parada en el Malecon (Gratis), nos fuimos en Metro hasta la estación Pedro Mir de la linea 2, y conocer el centro comercial Agora Mall. El costo del metro es de $20 (USD$0.35) pesos dominicanos por trayecto.
Tras conocer el Mall volvimos a tomar el metro hasta la estación Concepcion Bona en Santo Domingo Este, y desde allí nos trasladamos en Uber hasta el Parque Nacional Los Tres Ojos. Costo del uber RD$160.00. Entrada RD$200.00
Luego de conocer los cenotes, tomamos otro uber hasta el Faro a Colon con un costo de RD$120, el Faro ya estaba cerrado y solo pudimos apreciarlo desde afuera. El Faro a Colón está abierto al público de martes a sábado, de 9:00 AM a 5:00 PM, y los domingos, de 9:00 a 4:00; los lunes está cerrado. La entrada al Faro a Colón cuesta $100 pesos dominicanos (unos 2 dólares americanos)
Dentro del faro hay exhibiciones de diferentes países del mundo. También posee salas para exhibiciones temporales y salas de conferencias.
Por último nos trasladamos hasta la Zona Colonial de Santo Domingo donde conocimos algunos de los puntos mas importantes como la calle el Conde y la plaza España, finalizando en el Concierto del Grupo Bonyé el cual se celebra todos los Domingos de 6 a 10 PM, totalmente Gratis. Si visitas Santo Domingo y no fuiste a Bonyé, no conociste la Zona Colonial.

Historical note:
Dominican monastery in Starokonstantynow (Starokostiantyniv, currently in Ukraine) was built in 1613 by a prince, Voivode of Volhyn Voivodeship of the Kingdom of Poland and Castellan of Krakow Janusz Ostrogski. The monastery adjacent to the temple was built before 1617.
This was a centre of monastic life of the Dominicans in 1613-1832. The town is dominated by the tower of the Dominican monastery by the Sluch River. It included seven levels appropriate for the storage of cannons and for residential purposes. It remains the tallest (70 meteres) Renaissance-Gothic structure in Ukraine. In the early 17th century, a legendary cannon duel took place here between brothers Aleksander and Janusz Ostrogski. When Janusz became a Catholic, he decided to hand over the tower together with the Orthodox church dedicated to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross to the friars. In 1612, monks dedicated the church to the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and soon erected a two-level monastery. In the years 1638-1641, friar Szymon Okolski, famous heraldist and chronicler, was the prior of this monastery.
After the November Upprising (1832) against Russian occupation of Poland it was handed over to the Russian Orthodox Church. After WW1 and the annexation by the Soviet Russia, the NKVD torture chamber was located in the former monastery complex. From 1945 to 2002, the complex belonged to the district militsiya department. There was a shooting range in the former church, and a billiard room on the ground floor of the tower. Today, the ruins of the church with the tower have remained from the former Dominican complex.
The “PL-UA. History by drone” project consists of 100 short film productions depicting architectural monuments that were created in the period of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The series of short documentary films were screened in Ukraine. A Polish-Ukrainian team consisting of historians, journalists, writers, non-governmental organisations and youth joined forces to create the films. Project was financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

La Fortaleza de Santo Tomás fue la segunda fortificación construida por Cristóbal Colón, virrey y gobernador, en la Isla La Española, durante su segundo viaje. Situada en la región de Cibao, junto con Magdalena, Esperanza, Concepción y Bonao fue construida en poco tiempo, iniciándose el 17 de marzo de 1494, por unos 70 carpinteros y albañiles al mando de Pedro Margarit durante la exploración de la región en busca de fuentes auríferas. Fue atacada por el cacique Caonabó. El comandante Alonso de Ojeda acudió a su socorro con solo 15 hombres y consiguió derrotar a Caonabó, que fue capturado.
