Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is a shopping center located in Clondalkin Dublin, Ireland. The centre opened on 14 October 1998 and is located near the junction of the M50 motorway and N4 road closely surrounded by Lucan to the west, Palmerstown Village to the east and Clondalkin to the south. The centre was a scaled-down replacement for a much larger complex once mooted for the site, known as Quarryvale, the development of which was highly controversial. After over a decade without major development, the centre was extended in 2016.

Corkagh Park Urban Picnic Dublin Ireland
Urban outdoor market is starting in Corkagh Park, Clondalkin, Dublin, Ireland.
The market, which will have street food, crafts, artisan produce and family entertainment as the weeks progress, is called Urban Picnic and will take place every Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
Running on a trial basis over the course of September and October, the market will pitch tent near the playground in Corkagh Park and is visible from the St John’s Road entrance.
According to South Dublin County Council, outdoor markets such as Urban Picnic help promote the local community while enhancing the attraction of parks and tourism in the county.
Welcoming this new development, Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr Peter Kavanagh said: “This is great news for Corkagh Park, for Clondalkin, and is something the community has wanted for many years... echo.ie

Corkagh Park is a park situated in Clondalkin in South Dublin, between the N7 and the Old Nangor Road. The River Camac flows through it and within the grounds of the park there are fishing ponds. A caravan park can be found near the parks N7 entrance.
Corkagh Park was purchased in 1983 by Dublin County Council, and since 1994 South Dublin County Council have managed the park.
This is also the home to Ireland’s only purpose-built cycle track, which provides a safe, traffic-free environment to learn skills, improve fitness, train and race.
There are over 390 different species inhabiting Corkagh Park, with 20,000 trees planted in the early 1980s and 1990s.
Currently there are four car parks in Corkagh Park.
