CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO - Is this the CLEANEST city in Mexico? Welcome back to another Mexico Travel 2021 video! This is part 13 of my 2021 Mexico series coming from Chihuahua in northern Mexico!
In the last video I had a nightmare. An awful pizza which everyone recommended, 35km of walking, Mennonite communities with seemingly not a human in sight and an unintentional overnight stay in Cuauhtemoc. This time we are going with the flow. We’re having a leisurely stroll around Chihuahua Centro, checking out some of the things to do in Chihuahua with various spots with history relating to Miguel Hidalgo such as the Palacio Federal or Casa Chihuahua, the Templo el Francisco Asis, the government place, plus Quinta Gameros (closed) and the bizarre mannequin at a bridal shop which is said to be an embalmed corpse! (not on display). We also have hamburguesas al carbon and elotes (also esquites when it's on the cob!), great examples of affordable mexican street food!
The main gist of this video is chilling out and how I have got around my youtube burnout issues recently. Recommendations are great but they don’t necessarily translate into filming a YouTube video. These two things are completely different!

Spanish conquistadors founded Mexico City in 1521 atop the razed island-capital of Tenochtitlán, the cultural and political centre of the Aztec (Mexica) empire. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited urban settlements in the Western Hemisphere, and it is ranked as one of the world’s most populous metropolitan areas. One of the few major cities not located along the banks of a river, it lies in an inland basin called the Valley of Mexico, or Mesa Central. The valley is an extension of the southern Mexican Plateau and is also known as Anáhuac (Nahuatl: “Close to the Water”) because the area once contained several large lakes. The name México is derived from Nahuatl, the language of its precolonial inhabitants.

Estoy aquí porque un amigo nos invitó a celebrar su cumpleaños así como el de su papá y junto a mis amigos, que son esta segunda familia que la vida me ha dado, nos dirigimos desde Ciudad de México hacia Poza Rica para celebrarlo y para mi es un gran pretexto para seguir conociendo cada rincón de México.
Aprovecharemos para conocer algunos de los al rededores de esta ciudad veracruzana, rodeada por zonas arqueológicas, visitaremos algunos museos y conoceremos su pasado, Así que acompáñanos en esta nueva aventura por Poza Rica, Veracruz.
Poza Rica de Hidalgo se encuentra 3 horas y media de Xalapa, a casi 4 del Puerto de Veracruz y a casi a la misma distancia de Ciudad de México, con mis amigos salimos temprano para aprovechar al máximo el día y poder conocer los puntos principales de Poza Rica, en el camino nos detuvimos para desayunar y llegar con mucha energía a la ciudad veracruzana.

Guanajuato Mexico ...a Stroll around the City
This is footage from Guanajuato, Mexico that I shot a week before we left Mexico in March. We cut our Mexico travels short to return home before travel restrictions went into place. Guanajuato city is definitely a highlight of our travels in Mexico, and high on our list of places we'd love to re-visit. Today we’re strolling up to The Pipila monument, down to the “Alley of the Kiss”, and through the busy streets and beautiful parks. Guanajuato is high in the mountains in central Mexico, and in many ways it is like a trip back in time. This is part 1 of a 2 part video exploring the perils of burnout, stress, and anger when having been travelling full-time and solo for almost 5 years, and not necessarily about Chihuahua itself!
