In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

Top 5 Things to Do in Colorado Springs, Colorado
This video will show you the top things you MUST do when traveling to Colorado Springs. There is a reason people are moving here, and it is not just Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Colorado Springs has some of the best living conditions out of any city, and it is obvious why after spending time here!
Garden of the Gods is the main attraction that everybody knows in this area. It is a free city park with massive red rocks that are hundreds of feet tall!
Pikes Peak is the tallest mountain near the city - you can hike it, drive up it, or even take a train to the summit!
Manitou Springs is a nearby quiet town with the formidable Manitou Incline - a hiking trail that is short but incredibly steep! It is the ultimate test of fitness that provides beautiful views and scenery!
Sunwater Spa is located near the incline where you can soak in hot spring water inside OR outside! It is a magical place to come any time of year, but it is truly magical in the winter.
Don't forget to explore the Downtown Area of Colorado Springs! There are many good shops, store, restaurants, and public spaces to enjoy when you are looking for a bit of variety during your stay!

Garden of the Gods Colorado Springs
Garden of the Gods Colorado Springs - National Landmark formed millions of years ago during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line. As early as 250 BC many Native American peoples have used the area as a shelter and were attracted to the wildlife and fauna in the area.
In August 1859 Surveyors M.S. Beach and Rufus Cable explored the site. Beach suggested that it would be a capital place for a beer garden. That is sentiment shared by me as well! However, thanks to Rufus, that didn't occur as he exclaimed, Beer Garden! Why, it is a fit place for the Gods to assemble. We will call it the Garden of the Gods. It has been called that ever since.
Charles Elliott Perkins purchase the land now known as Garden of the Gods in 1879. His children donated the land to the City of Colorado Springs in 1909 with the provision that it would be free to the public, which it has been ever since.
