झुंझुनूं जिले में एक शहर है चिड़ावा, वैसे तो ये शहर भी आम शहरों की तरह ही है. लेकिन रसीले पेड़ों के साथ-साथ यहां बनने वाला साग-रोटा क्षेत्र को समूचे भारत में अलग पहचान देता है. फूलगोभी और मटर की प्याज-लहसून के तड़के से बनने वाला साग (सब्जी) की तरह दूध-घी के मोयन लगे बेसन के रोटे (रोटियां) तेजी से लोकप्रिय हो रहे हैं. वैसे तो साग-रोटा बनाने का तरीका बहुत पुराना है लेकिन पिछले 10 से 12 सालों में इसने व्यावसायिक रूप ले लिया है.
शेखावाटी में जब बात आध्यात्मिकता की आती है तो यहां की धरती पर अनेक संत व विद्वानों ने जन्म लिया है जिनमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ संत व विद्वान पुरूषों की श्रेणी में बुगाला में जन्मे परमहंस गणेशनारायण बावलिया बाबा ( Bavaliya Baba in Jhunjhunu ) का नाम आता है।
शेखावाटी में जब बात आध्यात्मिकता की आती है तो यहां की धरती पर अनेक संत व विद्वानों ने जन्म लिया है जिनमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ संत व विद्वान पुरूषों की श्रेणी में बुगाला में जन्मे परमहंस गणेशनारायण बावलिया बाबा ( Bavaliya Baba in Jhunjhunu ) का नाम आता है। बाल्यकाल में ही तपस्या एवं भक्ति के बल पर बाबा ने अनेक सिद्धियां प्राप्त कर ली थी। उनकी इसी महिमा का गुणगान आज देशभर में हो रहा है। शेखावाटी के नगरदेव कहे जाने वाले संत पं.गणेशनारायण बावलिया बाबा का जन्म झुंझुनूं जिले के बुगाला गांव में विक्रम संवत 1903 पौष बदी प्रतिपदा को गुरुवार के दिन हुआ। ब्राह्मण कुल के घनश्यामदास एवं गौरादेवी के यहां जन्मे गणेशनारायण ने बाल्यवस्था में ही वेदों, व्याकरण व ज्योतिष का पर्याप्त ज्ञान प्राप्त कर लिया था। गणेशनारायण पूजा अर्चना करके ही अपना जीविकोपार्जन किया करते थे।
