This tour is an expansion of our very popular Cleveland Lakefront tour, as You will experience the majority of what that Cleveland Tour offers, along with the expanded Lake Erie Shoreline tour which takes you from the Eastern Ohio border to Toledo. In this tour, You will discover the rich history of the Various towns along the Lake Erie shoreline. We will touch upon lighthouses, pop culture, the indigenous peoples of the area, the underground railroad, to the modern era. you will also get a good overview of what to do at each location, what you will see, where are the best spots to eat, to stay for the night, and the most interesting and scenic way to travel from town to town. This is a very comprehensive tour, that is in a documentary movie format, and is 2 hours 48 minutes long. this Tour can be simply viewed from the comfort of your home, or is excellent when used as your guide, as you travel on your own, or with your family and friends from place to place. You will only be able to download the video one time, but you will be able to view it as many times as you wish per download.

Sand Ridge Golf Club, was designed by Tom Fazio and is located in Munson Township, Geauga County, Ohio, near Chardon. Construction on the course started in late 1995 and opened for its private members on May 18, 1998
Tom Fazio's spectacular course design has lived up to Bill Conway's vision, attracting both local and national acclaim. The club has received numerous awards, and was ranked as high as America’s 52nd best golf course by Golf Digest. In its brief history, Sand Ridge has hosted numerous qualifiers, including the U.S. Open, the Senior and Junior Amateur, and, most recently, the NCAA Division I Men’s Regional qualifier in 2006.

MAPLE SUGARING WEEKENDS OHIO!!! Northeast Ohio Maple events and things to do.
The first two weekends in March in Ohio is when our state starts to thaw and we celebrate Maple Sugaring Weekends in Northeast Ohio. Maple Sugar Farms offer tours, demonstrations and samples of their maple syrup products. We do our best to visit as many sugarhouses as we can. And we are giving you our top 5 maple sugaring events in Ohio.
Here is our list of Northeast Ohio Maple events and things to do during MAPLE SUGARING WEEKENDS IN OHIO!!!
5. Ma and Pa's Cabin and Sleigh Rides in Parkman, Ohio We were not able to do the horse drawn sap collecting because everything was still very frozen, but we did get to do the magical horse drawn sleigh through the woods. When our sleigh ride was over, we hit their retail shop and got to sample the maple products they were selling and ate some warm pancakes by the fire.
4. Swine Creek Reservation, Middlefield Ohio Geauga Park District. Sap's-A-Risin' is their event. Where volunteers show guests how collecting, gathering, and boing down sap has evolved since Native American first discovered sap.
3. Seldom Seen Farm in Montville Township is a first generation farming family that made our list for their unique and delicious products. Our favorite being their Bourbon Barrel aged maple syrup. They buy old Bourbon barrels from a distillery in Kentucky and let their sweet product sit and soak in the Bourbon flavors of the Barrels.
2 Sugarbush Creek Farm in Huntsburgh Ohio. This family owned maple farm made our list for the thorough tour of how a modern day sugar house in run
Honorable mentions are Hershey Montisory School. Where the students run the Maple syrup production.
West Wood Nature Centers Maple SugART event. Where local artists Upcycle old used sap collecting buckets and make beautiful art.
Chardon Squares Maple Stirs. Maple Stirs have been a Chardon Ohio tradition since 1926. Maple stirs in Chardon oho is my families favorite way to eat the sweet stuff
and Richard's Maple a maple store that has been open for 100 years and has the worlds largest collection of maple products.
1, Our #1 spot goes to Lake MetroParks Lake Farm Parks in Kirtland Ohio. This park is open year round and shows guests farm life. In March they also participate in Maple Sugaring events with their own sugar house where they teach guests the process of boiling down sap into syrup. Its a family event that is very popular, not to mention all the cute Spring baby animals on this working farm. But this made our list because of it's adult maple syrup wine dinner. Horse Drawn carriage brings adult guest to their sugar house where they are served maple orderves, wine from a local Ohio vineyard and learn about Maple Syrup Production. A tractor then took guests up the the Lake Metroparks Farm Parks Plant house where a multi course maple inspired dinner was served with wine pairing.
Maple sugaring weekends in Ohio should not be missed. It is a must do in Ohio in the beginning of Spring. Please comment with any other Maple events or things to do we may have missed.

Utah Ghost Towns Part 1 - Thistle, Bullion City, Johnson Canyon Movie Set
My US Route 89 Travel Guide:
I found these 3 ghost towns while driving along US 89 this summer. Thistle is a one of a kind situation of a landslide that wiped out the town. All that is left is an incredible floating house. Bullion City was a gold mining boom town in the late 1800's. And Johnson Canyon wasn't really a town, but a movie/tv set where all that is left is some crumbling structures.

Arkansas and Mississippi River Cruising!
Cruising Arkansas River to the Mississippi River to bring our Trawler to Mexico! We were the only Trawler; actually only boat on the waters in exception for Tug Boats and Badges.
The Mississippi River is extremely low this year and parts were temporarily closed. Locks were open under reduced hours, one lock was shutting down due to work being done but we managed to make it through just before closure!
In this video, we will bring you along our trip cruising down rivers, going through locks, being put on hold for multiple days and anchoring out on the Mississippi River. We take you with us until we reach the Port Allen Locks!
Our next video will take you with us through the Bayou! I loved the Bayou down Port Allen Canal in comparison!
Be sure to subscribe because we are taking you on our journey all the way to Mexico...and then who knows where we will end up!
