???????? Ciudad NEZAHUALCÓYOTL | Surviving in MEXICO'S Sprawling SURBURBIA | Mexico Travel 2020

???????? Ciudad NEZAHUALCÓYOTL, ESTADO DE MEXICO - Hi everyone and welcome back to another Mexico Travel video! After numerous recommendations, I decided to check out how Mexicans are surviving in the sprawling suburbia of Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl - a vast city to the north of Mexico City's Iztapalapa and southeast of Pantitlan and Benito Juarez Airport.

Is Mexico dangerous? An area well known for poverty, close to Mexico City (CDMX), (including many residents earning a living from picking trash at a huge dump) and crime (the well-known Cholos - a gang subculture with roots in 90s LA gangs), Ciudad Neza provides you with a valuable insight into the reality of day to day Mexican life for locals who work independently, running food outlets, working at car mechanics, washing cars at traffic lights and so on.

In this video we discuss the necessity (as foreigners) to understand employment opportunities in other countries and accept cultural difference when we decide to embark on a Mexico trip - things will take a while to get your head around by coming to place like Ciudad Neza will really open your eyes.

We also head to Chimalhuacan, visit Glorieta Cabeza de Coyote (head of the coyote), Guerrero Chimalli (an Aztec Warrior monument) and walk the streets and markets of a Mexico you may not have expected. So if you're looking for places to visit in Mexico or would like to visit supposed dangerous areas in Mexico - Neza could be the one!

*Cómo llegar a Yecapitxla

Horario: 9 a.m. a 7 p.m.

-La Parroquia
Ubicación: No Reelección s/n, Centro, 62820 Yecapixtla, Morelos
Horario: Jueves a domingo de 9 a.m. a 6 p.m.

-Le Cecine
Ubicación: Carretera Cuatla Yecapixtla S/N (71,00 km) 62828 Yecapixilac, Morelos, Mexico

Our FIRST TRIP with my girlfriend's MEXICAN FAMILY

We did our first ever road trip together and made the drive to Hidalgo, Mexico where we visited one of the most haunted places in the country.
Next, watch our other recent vlogs together:

Our destination for this road trip was the Pueblo Magico in the Mexican state of Hidalgo called Huasca de Ocampo. This quaint little town is beautiful and has a lot of unique features including handicrafts that you can't find anywhere else, incredible ice cream, interesting energies, great food, lovely nature, and more!

Huasca de Ocampo was actually the very first place in Mexico to be named a Pueblo Magico and for good reason!

Val'quirico ¿Qué hacer? / Costo X Destino

The Most Affordable Places in Each US State - Part 2

What are the most affordable places in the United States? This is the second and final part of our video about the most affordable places in each US state. Oops, you missed the first part? Hurry now and go and watch it to maximize your enjoyment of this information we are about to share. If you saw the first part, you would realize that the affordable places we mentioned are small towns for those who are looking to escape the stress of big cities. You would also agree that the cost of living is a big factor in deciding where to live. We told you a bit about the places we highlighted in each state. In this second part, we’re going to stick with the same style. Please enjoy it.

Montana: Sidney
No, not Sydney in Australia, is our starting point here. Sidney, a town in the state of Montana is close to the border of Montana and North Dakota with about 6,400 residents. Its close proximity to the Yellowstone River makes it a great place to enjoy outdoor activities while 78.30 percent of homes there are affordable.
Nebraska: Chalco
In Nebraska, Chalco, a census-designated place (CDP) in the eastern part of the state is the most affordable place. Here, 82.42 percent of homes are affordable while 75.3 percent are owner-occupied. Their median value is 153,100 dollars. You can visit the Chalco Hills Recreation Area and take a scenic walk around Wehrspann Lake.
Nevada: Spring Creek The next state is Nevada the location of Spring Creek, the city where 87.59 percent of homes are affordable. With over 13,600, residents, the city situated between the Elko Hills Ruby Mountains to the northwest and southeast is the most affordable in the state. New Hampshire: South Hooksett South Hooksett is a CDP in New Hampshire where 77.05 percent of homes are affordable. Home to 5,800 residents, it is located within Merrimack County and is about 3 miles away from Manchester. It is the 18th best suburb for public schools and the 14th best to buy a home in New Hampshire as 82.6 percent of homes are owner-occupied.

New Jersey: Yardville
We are now in Yardville in New Jersey where 77.79 percent of homes are affordable. It is also a CDP in Mercer County. This small town by the Delaware River and Philadelphia is less than an hour's drive from the city and a short driving distance from fun activities such as Sesame Place in Langhorne.
New Mexico: White Rock
In this small town with about 5,700 residents, 90.94 percent of homes are affordable. White Rock in New Mexico is next to multiple mountains, the Rio Grande, and Santa Fe National Forest. It is about 9 miles from Los Alamos National Laboratory. It has been ranked the best suburb to buy a house in New Mexico. New York: Big Flats Big Flats is a town in western New York. This town where 87.28 percent of homes are affordable is close to the Pennsylvania border. Close also to national forests, it’s near the city of Elmira and is not far from New York's Finger Lakes.
North Carolina: Wesley Chapel
Wesley Chapel is a small town in North Carolina where 84.31 percent of homes are affordable. Though as a community, it has existed since the 1800s, it was officially incorporated as a village in 1998. It has been ranked as the 6th best place to live in Union County, North Carolina.

North Dakota: Devils Lake
Devils Lake is a city of around 7,300 residents. The city where 80.15 percent of homes are affordable is named after the lake beside it. For those who love outdoor activities such as fishing, Devils Lake is great. Here is a place you can fish year-round, even in the winter.

Ohio: Delhi Hills
Delhi Hills is the most affordable place in the state of Ohio. This place where 85.75 percent of homes are affordable is just outside of Cincinnati and located on a bluff near the Ohio River. The town’s main attraction is Delhi Pike, a popular strip of highway with fast-food eateries and stores on both sides of the road.

Mexico City's Biblioteca Vasconcelos (Vasconcelos Library), also known as la Biblioteca Vasconcelos or la Vasconcelos and labeled by the press as the Megabiblioteca (megalibrary), is a library in the downtown area of Mexico City (Buenavista neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc borough). It was dedicated to José Vasconcelos, the philosopher and former presidential candidate and former president of the National Library of Mexico. The library is spread across 38,000 square metres (409,000 sq ft) and had an initial planned cost of 954 million pesos (roughly US$98 million). The Congress of Mexico proposed plans to reduce the budget of 2006 that included cuts for all three branches of government. National Action Party (PAN) presented an alternative budget that preserved funds for Enciclomedia and the Vasconcelos Library.

The library is located in downtown Delegación Cuauhtémoc at the Buenavista train station where the metro, suburban train, and metrobus meet. It is adorned by several sculptures by Mexican artists, including Gabriel Orozco's Ballena (Whale), prominently located at the centre of the building.
