Flying my Grob109B home. Part 1/2 - Spanish border - to Châteauroux Airport Marcel Dassault.
#Grob109B #Châteauroux An epic flight with my new (old) Grob109B from the spanish border (LFCG) to Lingen - Klausheide (EDWN) in northern Germany. *WARNING* Long Video, many highlights, many details. We see Mountains, Atlantik and big airports. We have a Training, a Holiday and listen to French ATC. Air France does 'touch and go' and 'low pass' at Chateauroux Airport. A remarkable airport at the end of our day one. This was also our 1st stop on the Journey to Germany. A one day flight without the Atlantik sightseeing would have been possible but too long. Great Service at LFLX at no cost, completely free!
What happend?
I went to Toulouse on 14.4.2022, with Ryanair, where Pierrot kindly collected me, by car to Saint-Girons for the hotel. The most recordings are from 15 april 2022 but we have some flashbacks to march where I had the training, the holiday and the work packing all the spare parts of the grob in my trailer. The most important was of course the one-man-ridge:
We wanted to fly over the mountains, then Biaritz and the ocean. That did not work, too much cloud and mist, so north over bordeaux we made our new planning. Flying the Grob 109B home? this is the first 700 km: Saint-Girons LFCG to Châteauroux Marcel Dassault. It was really a great day. I will never forget.
The french flight information service FIS is very good, although I do not understand much of this French, say 30% because the format is more or less the same as in english.
Starting the Grob109B on a asphalt runway? It was fun: my tail should be higher ????, this needs some further training though. We start (at 03:10 with tail high) in Saint-Girons where the Grob109B from Pierrot has been for the last 18 years. No emotions here? The D-KBBW has a new owner now, he used to fly sailplanes (13:40).
Over the clouds in the first part was also beauifull, I thought we had to go though the skydemon indicated corridor, but we could fly easily over it. Great views on the rivers Dordogne and Garrone and of course the ocean near royan mendis.
Chateauroux (Marcel Dassault airport LFLX), at the end of our day one, was a great experience. I like this big airports, as subscribers will know. [4K] Christmas drive in Châteauroux, Indre, FRANCE

Today I offer you a little car ride in the illuminated streets of Christmas decorations in Châteauroux! This video was filmed with my Yi 4K+ which is smaller and therefore more suitable than my GH5 II to be placed behind the windshield but this results in poorer image quality at night with the appearance of noise digital. That said, I don't think it interferes with the ambiance provided by the Christmas lights. I wish you all a very good ride!

Aujourd'hui je vous propose une petite balade en voiture dans les rues illuminées des decorations de Noël à Châteauroux ! Cette vidéo a été filmé avec ma Yi 4K+ qui est plus petite et donc plus adaptée que mon GH5 II pour être placé derrière le pare-brise mais cela a pour conséquence une moins bonne qualité d'image de nuit avec l'apparition de bruits numérique. Cela dit, je ne pense pas que cela gêne l'ambiance procuré par les illuminations de Noël.
