A 360° immersive walk in Castres
Castres is a French commune, the only sub-prefecture of the Tarn department and capital of the district of Castres, in the Occitanie region.
Castres is generally known as the birthplace of Jean Jaurès.
Atypical, poetic and eternal, the Maisons sur l'Agout offer the city of Castres a postcard setting. Formerly, workshops of tanners, parchment makers or weavers, they are today a first-rate tourist showcase for the city of Castres.

Castres s'est développée autour de l'Agout, prenant son essor avec les activités des tisserands, des teinturiers, des tanneurs et des parcheminiers. Nous observons leurs maisons aux couleurs chamarrées. Mais lorsqu'un marchand faisait fortune, il partait s'installer en rive droite de l'Agout. L'occasion pour nous de visiter l'un des magnifiques hôtels particuliers de Castres.
