Castel Sant'Elmo is a Medieval Fortress Overlooking Naples - Naples Italy - ECTV

Castel Sant'Elmo is a medieval fortress located on Vomero Hill adjacent to the Certosa di San Martino, overlooking Naples, Italy. The name Sant'Elmo derives from a former 10th-century church dedicated to Sant'Erasmo, shortened to Ermo and, finally altered to Elmo. Located near the upper terminus of the Petraio, one of the city's earliest pedestrian connections between upper and lower Naples, the fortress now serves as a museum, exhibition hall, and offices.

Piccoli tesori da scoprire - Discovering little gems - Gussago - Franciacorta

GUSSAGO (Brescia Lombardy Italy)

LA BEGIA (the old one)
A country residence with gothic arches and interesting ceilings.

SANTISSIMA
A tower on the hill overlooking the town, which Paolo Richiedei had constructed in the 19th century, but in 18th century style (design by Inganni), on the site of a convent.

THE PARISH CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA (in Piè del Dosso)
Rebuilt around 1470, it was modified and extended over subsequent centuries. In gothic-Romanesque style, it has a renaissance portal with the architrave resting on candelabra pilasters. The apse is polygonal, built over a previous semicircular apse dating back to the 9th-10th centuries. The terracotta decoration of the windows and cornices on the exterior is interesting.

Trying Turkish Alcohol Raki | Tasting Raki for the First Time | Turkish Food Tour

Trying Turkish Alcohol Raki. Raki is the most popular alcoholic drink in Turkey and we can’t believe we haven’t tried it yet! So, today’s Turkish food tour is a little different, since we’ll be tasting Raki for the first time.

???? SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE FOOD ADVENTURES:
???? WATCH Amazing Turkish Food:

When in Turkey, you must try the anise flavoured Turkish alcohol, raki! After being in Turkey for well over a month, we finally tasted raki for the first time. Being the national drink of Turkey, it’s a special alcohol that’s drank amongst family and friends, and has quite the culture around drinking it. It is a must try for any Turkish food tour, even though it’s not ‘technically’ food.

Raki can be fairly expensive at restaurants, however, so being frugal and all, we decided to try the Turkish alcohol Raki our own way, by tasting raki for the first time at our own, home-made, raki table!

We hope you enjoy this special Turkish food tour video of us trying the Turkish alcohol, Raki, for the first time.
