Tarlac Road Trip No. 4 CAPAS
The Municipality of Capas is a 1st class municipality in the province of Tarlac, Philippines. It's known for its rich history, natural beauty, and booming tourism industry.
Capas is being dubbed as the Tourism Capital of Tarlac due to its many attractions.
Capas was the final resting point of the infamous Bataan Death March during World War II. The Capas Death March Marker commemorates this tragic event.
Capas is nestled at the foot of Mount Pinatubo, an active volcano that erupted in 1991. The mountain's slopes offer stunning scenery and challenging hikes.
Capas has relatively high ground, hilly places near the mountain range are at an approximate 46 meters. It is bordered by San Jose on the north, Tarlac City on the north-east, Concepcion on the east, Botolan, Zambales, on the west and south-west and Bamban on the rest of the southern parts. The west side of the town is mountainous while the east side is a plain. The town is also known as The Gateway to Pinatubo Volcano.

Exploring The Summer Capital of Tarlac, Philippines | Nambalan River Mayantoc Tarlac
If you are looking for a place to relax and commune with nature, head over to Nambalan River situated in the “Summer Capital of Tarlac” Mayantoc, Tarlac.
Nambalan River has calm waters from January to May – perfect for swimming and picnic with view of the mountains. During the rainy months (July to December) kayaking and whitewater rafting are among the favorite water activities here.

The 84.47-kilometer Capas-Botolan Road will serve as a direct link between the provinces of Tarlac and Zambales, and will further provide access to the New Clark City. It starts in Olongapo-Bugallon Road in Zambales and end at Manila North Road in Tarlac.

The Gazebo View Park (formerly Paradise Ranch) is a park situated on the hills of Sacobia in Brgy. San Vicente, Bamban, Tarlac with overlooking views of Mt. Arayat, Clark and other cities and town in Central Luzon. The park is open from 7am-10pm daily.
Entrance fee for a daytour visit is P75.00/ head
(with access to all areas inside the park) plus P20.00 / head for the Environmental fee.
Overnight Camping
P150.00/head @ Mahogany campsite
P250.00/head @ Little Baguio campsite
Note: (overnight camping is 12nn-12nn)
