TALLEST STATUE IN CEBU | CARCAR CITY (6th Tallest in the Philippines)
The Meditative Garden of the Sacred Heart in the mountain barangay of Can-asujan, Carcar City towers the sky at 29.2 meters (96 feet). Inside a private property of Engineer Emelia Bacus, the towering figure is arpound 10 kilometers from the National Highway. The Christ figure lits up at night and has a stair where one can climb up reaching the heart level of the statue.

The Heritage City of Cebu, Carcar is one of the progressive towns in south Cebu, Philippines, and the new public market only shows the invigorating economy of the city.
The new public market is located at the back of the new Carcar City Hall. It is a two-storey market which has two buildings for its wet and dry sections. The area is well ventilated and it also has a food court with industrial fans.
If you want to find the famous Carcar chicharon, lechon, and ampao, you can visit the new public market and buy those delectable delicacies worth tasting.

To get there, you can ride a bus from Cebu South Bus Terminal to Carcar. Tickets cost ₱60 - ₱80 and the journey takes 1-2 hours. Drop off at Metro Carcar and ride a tricycle to the public market.

Just a quick look at Hidden Paradise Mountain Resort. It was very nice and I never understood why everyone decided to go somewhere else. More info is available on my Facebook.
But then we were back on the road headed for JS*JS Mountain Resort for some night time swimming with the Family.
It turned out very nice because we ended up having then entire place to ourselves.
