Authentic BRAZILIAN STREET FOOD Tour at Night!! Tapas, Hot Dog & Açaí Bowl | São Paulo, Brazil

To wrap up my time in beautiful São Paulo, Brazil, I headed out on an epic nighttime street food tour I will never forget! Come with me as I show you a wide array of authentic Brazilian street food, including tapas, hot dogs, and more in São Paulo, Brazil!
My evening began in the Cambuci neighborhood with my friend Aurèlio from Be My Guest SP, where we began our adventure at A Juriti, a local bar that has been around since 1957.
The bar is where you go to experience the real São Paulo. It’s very traditional and sells traditional foods like cheese, cold cuts, seafood, and pork rinds. It was almost exactly like a tapas bar in Spain.
I tried some Serramalte beer along with pork skin, pork belly, sausage, frog legs, morcilla, fish, and more! We started with the beer, which was crisp and malty. Then, we jumped on the sausage drizzled with cachaca, which is sugarcane liquor. I could taste the liquor. It was so good!
The morcilla with onions and chilies was oily, herbal, and different. The onions with it gave it a nice crunch! Next was the fried frog, which tastes like chicken. The only thing is, it’s very bony and doesn’t have much meat on it. It was great with the lime, as was the fried pork belly.
Then, I tried a marinated fish wrapped around an onion. It’s very fishy and the onion was very potent. The chicharron was super crunchy and fatty, and super tasty with the lime juice. Finally, we tried some batatas, or potatoes, with chilies. They were super spicy!
Then, we hopped back in the car to track down a super unique hot dog at Super Hot Dog. This hot dog is Aurèlio’s favorite and comes covered in mashed potatoes! It’s a layered hot dog with mayo, mustard, ketchup, corn, fritas, tomatoes, onions, and finally mashed potatoes on top!
Hot dogs are very popular in Brazil and are part of the local German influence. This hot dog is so crazy and massive! It’s tropical, crunchy, and refreshing, but also very soft and mushy with a very fluffy bun. It’s a smorgasbord of textures. I loved the textures, and the hot dog itself was really good, too. I’m not usually a big hot dog guy, but this one is amazing!
Finally, for dessert, we stopped at Frutaria Jardim to try some Brazilian açaí. They’re also a 24-hour fruit stand and sell bananas, oranges, limes, mangoes, nectarines, papayas, kiwi, watermelons, and more. They also offer shakes, water, and fresh juice.
We got some frozen açaí with sprinkled powdered milk on top. The milk powder was different. I loved the sugary guarana syrup and the banana in it. It was super tasty, thick, and creamy. It’s a super amazing dessert. It felt more like a slushie!
Then, I tried some tapioca cream with coconut. It was like condensed milk with coconut. I followed that with some frozen dragonfruit, which was like a popsicle.

Existe muito policiamento na cidade mas não é suficiente.
Neste vídeo mostro a região da Praça da Sé, ondem muitas pessoas em situação de rua passam seus dias.
Ali acontecem muitos assaltos durante o dia e costuma ser deserto a noite.
Também mostrei o Viaduto do Chá e o Teatro Municipal, que é uma região também perigosa da cidade!
Em seguida passei na Praça da República, próximo da região da Cracolândia, e depois fui a Rua 25 de março, lugar bastante movimentado, principalmente aos sábados.
Depois passei na porta do Mercado Municipal, o Famoso Mercadão, e em seguida na
Zona Cerealista.
Depois fui ao bairro do Brás, no Largo da Concórdia, lugar também bastante
movimentado e perigoso.
Depois estive na Avenida Paulista, que também é perigoso mexer no celular, pois ali eles passam de bicicleta e levam seu celular embora sem você ver!

Localizada ao Norte da cidade, Camburi é a única praia da capital que fica na área continental. Com seus seis quilômetros de extensão, é completamente urbanizada e arborizada. Toda a orla tem boa iluminação e, no inicio, há um monumento à Iemanjá. Já o mar de Camburi, considerado um dos melhores lugares para velejar no Brasil, é excelente para praticar windsurf, kitesurf e passear de veleiro.
Quiosques para comercialização de comida e bebida e deck de madeira com mesinhas para os clientes também podem ser encontrados ao longo do calçadão. Há, ainda, um quiosque que serve como sede do Serviço de Orientação ao Exercício (SOE) e como Centro de Atendimento ao Turista (CAT).
No calçadão tem ainda pista específica para corrida, caminhadas, passeios de bicicleta, skate e patins. Também possui uma Academia Popular da Pessoa Idosa, e aos domingos e feriados, das 7 às 13 horas, dois trechos da avenida Dante Michelini ficam interditados para os carros possibilitando aos moradores e turistas maior espaço para convivência e lazer.

Avenida Dante Michelini e seu ponto de início é a Ponte de Camburi, que faz divisa com o bairro Praia do Canto.
