Today, in this Cambria Travel Guide, we're heading to the Central Coast for 10 Things to Do in Cambria, California! Cambria is located on beautiful Pacific Coast Highway 1 (between Morro Bay and San Simeon), and about halfway between LA and San Francisco.

Most Cambria hotels are located on Moonstone Beach Boulevard or in the town's East Village district. This is where you'll also find most of the shops and restaurants in Cambria.

Nitt Witt Ridge: Touring Cambria's Folk Art Landmark

Nitt Witt Ridge is an awesome historic landmark on California's central coast in the town of Cambria. This house was built and tinkered on from 1928 till the 1970s. The property was sold in the '90s, but you can still tour it for $10 most days. For more information on when the tours will be, call 805-927-2690 as there is no website.

Cambria is a seaside village in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along California State Route 1 (Highway 1). The name Cambria, chosen in 1869, is the Latin name for Wales. Cambria is situated amidst Monterey pines in one of only three such native forests. Previously, the town had gone by the names of Slabtown, Rosaville, San Simeon, and Santa Rosa. the unincorporated community as a census-designated place had a population of 5,678 at the 2020 census, down from 6,032 at the 2010 census.
