Spirit of Queensland Tilt Train Railbed - Australia's most modern overnight train Cairns to Brisbane
The wait is over!! Last year I travelled on the Spirit of Queensland (Diesel Tilt Train) Premium Economy Class from Townsville to Cairns, I thoroughly enjoyed my trip therefore I wanted to travel from Cairns all the way to Brisbane one day. However with unpredictable border restrictions and the train's popular demand, I had to reschedule this trip again and again!
On 10 September 2021, I finally boarded this train once more and experienced Railbed Sleeper from Cairns to Brisbane. In this video I have covered every single aspect of this train, if you have any questions about Spirit of Queensland, I think you should be able to find out the answer after watching the whole video. Noosa to the Gold Coast Hinterland.
We arrive in Noosa and wow, what a beautiful place this is! We hire a boat for the day and explore the stunning Noosa River. From here we drop in to see our travel friends in Caboolture and they spoil us with a trip to Redcliffe to see the Bee Gees, a visit to Southbank and a day trip in their 4WD on Bribie Island. We made our way to the Gold Coast Hinterland where we spent some quality time with Shannon’s family. Rod takes him to work and gives him a flying lesson in a Cessna 172. An experience that he will never forget!
