Tasmania - Australia's Best Kept Secret ? (8 Things To DO) !

To kickstart my Australian adventure, I embarked on a week long road trip across Tasmania, Australia's little island cousin and what I feel is Australia's best kept secret. If you've never been, here are 8 things to do in Tasmania...

First I flew into Hobart, the capital city, to explore its famous Salamanca Market and pick up my campervan as I made my way up to the town of Breona nestled along the shores of Great Lake. From there I visited the iconic Cradle Mountain National Park and saw the beautiful mountain scenery and some wonderful wild wombats.

Next I headed west to the Tasmanian coast to the town of Strahan and strolled along the coast, before heading back inland, stopping at places like Queenstown, Lake Burbury, Nelson Falls and the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (where I met some lovely rescued Tasmanian Devils, Kangaroos & Echidnas).

TASMANIA ROAD TRIP: WEST COAST (BURNIE TO STRAHAN INCLUDING ROSEBERY & ZEEHAN) | Samantha Rose King

Come with me and my mum on a day trip from Burnie to Strahan on Tasmania’s West Coast.
We drive through Tullah to Rosebery, and make a stop to visit Stitt Falls, then head to Zeehan and stop at the Spray Tunnel. Finishing up in Strahan for a look around before driving back to Burnie.

Round trip took us about 6 hours. The road was fantastic (aside from getting to the spray tunnel in Zeehan!)
Please ask me any questions!

Thanks for watching!
