Would you explore remote islands in the Philippines, camp on those remote islands, climb a volcano. Go trekking, Go deep sea kayaking. Explore shipwrecks, explore the sea, explore the sky. This is our adventures in the Philippines.
We climbed Taal volcano on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. We joined a TAO expedition where we explored remote islands from El Nido to Coron by Banca boat. We flew our DJI Phantom 3 Pro drone and got epic aerial shots over Nacpan Beach in El Nido, Philippines.
We kayaked and flew our DJI Phantom 3 drone in the Small Lagoon Coron, Philippines for some epic aerial landscape shots. We spent days exploring and flying our DJI Phantom 3 over the Philippines landscape of Twin Lagoon, Kayangan Lake, Kalachuchi Beach, Malcapuya Island, Pass Island, WWII Lusong Gunboat Shipwreck, Bulog Dos Island.
We enjoyed some luxury and adventure in Northern Busuanga Island where we spent our days exploring the coastline by Kayak.

Having travelled the Philippines pretty extensively over 4 separate trips, the only place left on our wish list was to visit Palawan, known as the ‘Last Frontier of the Philippines’ because it is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the Philippines and is composed of 100s of islands, lagoons and beaches ready to be explored.

Our Coron Accommodation Suggestion: Bacau Bay Resort
Day 1 - The easiest and most direct route to Coron is by direct flight from from Manila to Busuanga airport, Palawan. You can take Cebu Pacific Air, Zest Air or PAL Express.
From Busuanga aiport, you take a jeepney or van for about one hour to reach Coron Town.
Day 2 - Day Tour - 'Reef & Wrecks' Snorkeling the best Coral gardens in Coron Palawan

Day 3 - A day to relax at your resort, explore Coron Town & do some local site seeing. Talk to a local tuktuk driver to arrange some activities.

Day 6 - [TRAVEL DAY - CORON to EL NIDO, PALAWAN]
Its time to island hop to El Nido, This can be done by catching a Montenegro Ferry, They have only recently restarted this route and as at the time of publication there is only 1 Ferry a day. We suggest you book in advance or when you arrive to Coron to avoid missing out. The office is located at the port opposite the entrance. WEBSITE: Montenegro

TIP: Tours B & D do not run daily and not all tour companies will offer them. You will have to book in advance so that they have a day or two to gather more people to join you or book them as a private tour. We highly suggest these 2 tours, the fact that they are not done daily by all of the tour operators means the spots you will visit are not OVERRUN with other tourists and it is a much more peaceful and beautiful experience.
