The smallest city of the Netherlands: Bronkhorst
Bronkhorst has city rights since 1482 and is the smallest city of the Netherlands. It has 90 inhabitants and is very popular for a visit by bicycle. The river IJssel is closeby and you can take a ferry to cross the water. Bronkhorst used the have a castle but it was removed around 1828. You can still see what it looked like. There is a scale model at the former location.
Three Dutch gardens.
These 3 garden are very different but all three very interesting. They lie not far from each other in a vicinety of 3 km.in the Brummen town, so easy to visit in one day during open garden weekends.

Wenn man über die IJsselbrücke in die Stadt hineinfährt, hat man das Gefühl in ein anderes Zeitalter zu reisen. Es gibt nur wenige Städte in den Niederlanden, die so gut erhalten geblieben sind, wie die alte Hansestadt Doesburg.
Das mittelalterliche Straßennetz ist noch vollkommen erhalten und mehr als 150 Gebäude in der Innenstadt stehen unter Denkmalschutz. Sie erzählen von Doesburgs reicher Vergangenheit: Schon 1237 und damit 60 Jahre vor Amsterdam erhielt Doesburg die Stadtrechte. Darauf sind die Einwohner noch heute stolz. 1447 trat die Stadt dann dem deutschen Hanseverbund bei. Der von dieser Zeit geprägte Stadtkern wurde schon mehrfach als Kulisse für Kinofilme genutzt.

The ‘Tourist Information Points’ are located at various businesses in the city centre and can be recognized by a ‘Tourist Information Point’ sticker on the window. At every location, a display with maps will be available, as well as the event calendar and the city guide for visitors. Also, the staff members at every location will be informed regularly about the situation in the city centre. This way, visitors are being informed correctly as well.
For potential business owners with questions, there are special developed Z-Cards at the Tourist Information Points with more information about the atmospheric areas, a description of every area and other interesting data. The contact details of the business consultant of Centrummanagement Leiden, Hans Genotte, can be found on the Z-Card, who has great communication with the businesses in the city centre.
The businesses below are very happy to contribute to this service for improvement of the hospitality and findability, and enlarging the motif for multiple visits.
