After 10 years, I have returned to the country that I enjoyed THE LEAST in all of my travels… Brunei. It’s a tiny country on Borneo island, sandwiched in between Malaysia and Indonesia, and I was very nervous to go back. Why? Because my last video there was all about how much I hated it, and I was so worried that I would be thrown in jail by the government, or even yelled at by the locals…. But this time around, I went in with fresh eyes and a new perspective, and I really enjoyed it!!!
I met up with a local Bruneian friend from Instagram named Bryant, and he took me under his wing to show me his version of Brunei. And what we discovered will seriously blow your mind!!

This summer, we had the chance to spend a week exploring Halifax in partnership with Tourism Nova Scotia and the cuisine was a real highlight.
Our quest for a taste of the Maritimes led us to all sorts of restaurants, breweries, distilleries, pubs and outdoor patios, and we’re going to be sharing them all in this video. We’ll dive into the seafood scene with dishes ranging from lobster roll to risotto with scallops, and seafood linguini to fusion maki rolls.
We’ll taste the beloved Halifax donair, which is the city’s must-try dish and a great street food snack. We’ll also visit a few different craft breweries, go on a sunset wine cruise, and do a spirit tasting inside the citadel.

Po pierwszej tak długiej przerwie w historii kanału (1,5 miesiąca) widzimy się z kolejnym filmem. Autem wybraliśmy się do Włoch, aby nieco pochodzić po górach. W Dolomitach byliśmy już kiedyś rowerem, ale to jednak nie jest to. Co trekking to trekking. Dolomity dopiero wtedy robią ogromne wrażenie!
W tym odcinku przejdziemy się po jednym z najbardziej kultowych szlaków trekkingowych w dolomitach - Alta Via 1. Słyszałem już o nim wiele dobrych opinii i cieszę się, że w końcu udało się wyskoczyć w Dolomity.
Co prawda całego szlaku nie zrobiliśmy ze względu na pogodę, ale i tak jestem mega zadowolony z tej części Alta Via, którą przejść się udało. Wystartowaliśmy z Dobbiaco, z jeziora lago di braies, a zakończyliśmy 4 dni. Spaliśmy pod namiotem, ale też w schronisku na górze Lagazuoi, co było jednym z naszych lepszych noclegów ever. Piękne widoki, niesamowite miejsce. Ceny też, ale to już się przekonacie z filmu :D

Pavia è un comune italiano di circa 71000 abitanti, capoluogo della provincia omonima in Lombardia.
Situata a 34 km a sud di Milano, lungo la Via Francigena e sulle rive del fiume Ticino, poco a nord dalla confluenza di quest'ultimo nel Po, la città affonda le sue origini all'epoca delle tribù galliche; successivamente divenne municipium romano con il nome di Ticinum e sede di una zecca imperiale nel III secolo d.C. Nel Medioevo fu capitale per due secoli del Regno longobardo e poi, dal 774 al 1024, capitale del Regno d'Italia. Forte libero comune, che seppe per secoli tenere testa a Milano, divenne in seguito residenza della corte viscontea da Galeazzo II fino ai primi decenni di governo di Filippo Maria Visconti, e dal 1361 è sede di un'università, riconosciuta tra le migliori d'Italia.
Le origini antiche e un passato storico di rilievo hanno lasciato in eredità a Pavia un ragguardevole patrimonio artistico: fra le principali attrazioni turistiche si annoverano il Castello Visconteo, la basilica di San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro, la Pinacoteca Malaspina, il Duomo, la basilica di San Michele Maggiore e il Ponte Coperto, solo per citarne alcune, tanto che Pavia è annoverata tra le principali città d'arte della Pianura Padana. Grazie al suo importante passato e al patrimonio artistico, Pavia è inserita in sei itinerari culturali del Consiglio d'Europa: Via Francigena, Itinerario di San Martino di Tours, Siti Cluniacensi in Europa, Transromanica, Itinerari europei dell'imperatore Carlo V e Via Carlo Magno.
La città è inoltre il capoluogo di una provincia dedita soprattutto all'agricoltura, in particolare a viticoltura, risicoltura e cerealicoltura, al terziario, mentre molto più limitato è il peso del settore industriale. Pavia è inserita nel parco del Ticino e, all'interno dei confini comunali si trovano alcuni boschi testimoni della grande foresta che un tempo ricopriva la Pianura Padana.
Un tempo era chiamata “centium turrium” per la presenza di ben 100 torri con i loro caratteristici orologi, che le conferivano un aspetto regale e suggestivo. Oggi, purtroppo, è possibile ammirare solo quelle rimaste in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci, le due di Via Luigi Porta e quella di Piazza Borromeo, con la loro caratteristica snellezza, che si innalzano fino a 53 metri.
Le torri di Pavia erano il segno della potenza e della ricchezza delle famiglie nobili, che ne facevano erigere una ogni volta che nasceva il figlio maschio di una nuova generazione. Naturalmente più alta era la torre e maggiore era il prestigio della famiglia che l’aveva fatta costruire.
Nel corso della storia poi, durante le lotte comunali tra guelfi e ghibellini, vennero saccheggiate molte case e furono tagliate la maggior parte delle torri, che sono così giunte fino a noi, alcune anche incorporate in case di abitazione.
Lo stemma comunale è il simbolo storico della città: croce bianca in campo rosso. Il sigillo del Comune ha il Regisole.
