New Haven, CT - 10 fun things to do
Part college town, part foodie oasis, part artist’s sanctuary, part history-buff heaven - there’s something for everyone to discover in New Haven.
Yale University brings brick and ivy, along with more than 10,000 college and graduate students every year, to the city in its sprawling campus. The university also offers endless cultural opportunities. Yale’s Art Gallery hosts works by the likes of Wassily Kandinsky and Mark Rothko. Students from university’s drama school regularly host productions at the Yale Repertory Theater.
Off campus, New Haven offers its residents a plethora of dining and entertainment options. The birthplace of the hamburger and American-style pizza, properly called apizza, New Haven has a great variety of high-end dining and ethnic eateries. Enjoy nationally-recognized Spanish tapas at Olea or head to Little Italy near Wooster Square to try out the unique apizza for yourself. Taste of New Haven even offers several weekly restaurant and bar tours so you can get a little taste of everything New Haven has to offer.
Entertainment is in no short supply in New Haven, as well, with many arts, theater and music spots in the city. Artspace, a warehouse of mini-galleries, anchors the arts district in New Haven, but there are many other former warehouses that have become artists’ studios. Branford Trolley Trail and Goss Preserve Full Hike | Branford Connecticut
We headed to Branford CT to check out this much talked about hiking and biking path. Not only does it have a popular bridge for Instagram shots but it also has a family of Osprey that were actively feeding their babies. We continued into the Goss preserve, which can only be described as chipmunk heaven, and managed to get lost near the golf course. To be fair, this wouldn't be a surprise even if the channels name wasn't MikeGetsLost.

Troy Springs State Park | Branford | Florida
Hello Explorers! In this video we head to north central Florida to visit Troy Springs State Park. This place was amazing and provided what you'd expect with a typical park. It wasn't big and most of the area was wooded but one of the biggest selling point was the 75 foot deep bowl shaped spring that helps feed the Suwannee River. As the website states, it truly is a quiet gem. Another selling point is a piece of history is located here dating back to the Civil War. The Madison, a small steamboat, was scuttled near the spring head to avoid capture. The remains can be found on the river floor and is a must see if you visit. Come explore this neat little place with us!

Brantford (2016 population 97,496;[1] CMA population 134,203[2]) is a city in Ontario, Canada, founded on the Grand River in Southwestern Ontario. It is surrounded by Brant County, but is politically separate with a municipal government of its own that is fully independent of the county's municipal government.[4][5][6]
Brantford is situated on the Haldimand Tract,[7][8] traditional territory of the Neutral, Mississauga, and Haudenosaunee peoples.[9][10] The city is named after Joseph Brant, an important Mohawk leader, soldier, farmer and slave owner.[11] Brant was an important leader during the American Revolutionary War and later, after the Haudenosaunee moved to the Brantford area in Upper Canada.
