We travel in October through the region of Dordogne, France where the fall leaves are in bloom and the air is crisp. Dordogne also referred to as Perigord is one of the most beautiful regions in France. It is known for its natural beauty and rich heritage.
I love driving through french towns and villages where time seemed to have stood still. It's amazing how beautifully preserved they are! We'll take a short walk in the medieval town of Périgeux, considered the capital of Dordogne, and take a peek at its impressive Cathedral Saint-Front. It is located in the White Perigord.

Hotel La Residence in Narbonne France room tour
Hotel La Residence in Narbonne, France. This was filmed in October 2022.
A normal hotel room with a double bed and ensuite, BUT it came with a mini-fridge (actually a mini bar) which meant I could store cheese and other snacks. Very pretty building with a lovely shared lounge, and friendly staff to boot. Centrally located– the tourist office is down the street and all the tourist stuff is within a 20 min radius– and a quiet neighborhood overall. About 10 minutes walking from the train station in a fairly straight shot.

I know some of you haven´t heard about this silent country yet, nor did I. I just paid a visit since it´s already near Belgium, which I´m glad I did, ´cause this country has a lot to offer especially when it comes to History. Heard about the Allied Powers ? No?! Well, you gotta go back to school and listen to your History teacher. LOL!
Seriously, Luxembourg was my 3rd and last stop on my first 9-days vacation from work in Germany. It is a very nice country which you can add up to your list if you are planning to make a world tour (like me) someday!

A quelques dizaines de mètres de la grotte du Grand Roc, aux Eyzies de Tayac, les abris de Laugerie Basse. Le site préhistorique datant d'entre -15 000 et -10 000 av. J-C, a servi de référence aux préhistoriens du monde entier.

Boulazac - Sigoulès, 87 kms
Ce jeudi sera, a priori, une journée tranquille : nos deux cyclistes font leur lessive en attendant Stéphane, le frère de JC. Partant en vacances dans le sud-ouest, il en profite pour aller à la rencontre des deux aventuriers et, pendant deux jours, les délestera de quelques bagages. Il doit rejoindre son lieu de villégiature samedi après-midi et d'ici là, il partagera le quotidien nomade de Vince et JC. Stéphane et nos deux cyclistes se rejoignent à Périgueux (3 km de Boulazac), font des courses puis transfèrent une partie du chargement des vélos dans la 405. Et c'est une autre forme de défi que Vince et JC devront réaliser : rallier le prochain... SUITE sur

La Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise est une région vallonnée située à l'Est du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, limitrophe avec l'Allemagne. Une région naturelle et préservée qui nous rappelle la Suisse avec ses forêts et ses vallées montagneuses.
Au départ de Berdorf et Echternach, nous suivrons les chemins balisés et facile d'accès pour rejoindre les nombreux points d'intérêts comme la cascade Schéissendëmpel, Scheidgen et la grotte Hohllay.
JE VOUS DIS TOUT POUR OPTIMISER VOS RANDONNÉES AU LUXEMBOURG !

Road Trip - Luxembourg / Belgique
Salut tout le monde !
Voici la première vidéo (et la dernière ?) sur ma chaîne. Je vous partage mon voyage que j'ai réalisé en juin dernier avec mon acolyte Marie (la brune...). Pour vous résumer notre voyage en quelques lignes, tu peux lire le petit paragraphe juste en dessous ! Sinon je vous remercie d'avoir regardé ma vidéo et à la prochaine !
Jour 1 : Départ pour moi de Paris pour rejoindre Marie.à Orléans.
Jour 2 : Départ d'Orléans pour arriver dans un camping à côté de Luxembourg au Luxembourg (vous me suivez ?). Nous sommes passées par Troyes, Verdun et Metz.
Jour 3 : Départ du camping et visite de la capitale ainsi que des cascades qui se situent plus loin dans le pays. Arrivée dans le nouveau camping, proche de Liège.
Jour 4 : Visite de Liège. Départ pour le troisième camping, à côté de Bruxelles.
Jour 5 : Visite de Bruxelles.
Jour 6 : Départ de Bruxelles. Visite de Gand. Arrivée dans un hôtel (enfin du confort) à Blankenberge, au nord de la Belgique.
Jour 7 : Visite de Bruges. Nuit à Blankenberge.
Jour 8 : Départ pour Paris.
