Pompeje to starożytne rzymskie miasto. 2 tysiące lat temu Pompeje były u szczytu swojej świetności. Do czasu, gdy pobliska góra dająca ludziom życiodajne plony przyniosła nagle straszną śmierć.
17 lat przed zagładą, czyli w 62 roku n.e., kiedy Wezuwiusz potrząsnął ziemią Pompeje były miastem rozpusty z 20 domami publicznymi. Freski, malowidła miały zabarwienie erotyczne. Ulubionym zajęciem antycznych obywateli Pompei było oddawanie się uciechom cielesnym. Juwenalis tak oto pisało Pompejankach „Te nimfomanki uganiają się za kochankami, a jeśli zadowolą się jednym, uważają się za cnotliwe”

Wezuwiusz jest jednym z 5ciu najgroźniejszych wulkanów na świecie. Cały Neapol a to wielkie miasto żyje w jego cieniu. Ludzie zamiast uciekać sadzą drzewa, budują domy. Nikt nie myśli co stanie się jutro! Ludzie są obojętni i bezsilni zarazem.
