BLACK FOREST TRAVELOGUE: This fantastic picturesque region from south to north, with commentary.
ROBANCA TRAVELOGUES: Picturesque Black Forest. A driving tour of the Black Forest in southern Germany, firstly staying at Titisee in the south, from where we visit Triberg and it's waterfalls, Waldkirch and the city of Freiburg. We then visit the nearby Lake Schluchsee, Altglashutten, Lenzkirch and Loffingen. Travelling north, we then pass through St Margen, St Peter and Haslach, before reaching our second base in the north of the Forest at Durbach. From here we visit the towns of Offenburg, Hausach, and Villingen, and the lovely villages of Gengenbach and Schiltach.

GERMANY: St. Georgen, town in Black Forest 4K
Sankt Georgen im Schwarzwald is a town in Southwestern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The town lies at an altitude of 800 to 1000 meters above sea level. The largest part of the municipality, almost 60 km2, consists of forest and fields.
The charming landscape in combination with a variety of exciting destinations in the vicinity make St. Georgen a popular destination for a holiday in the Black Forest (German: Schwarzwald). It has numerous guesthouses and farms with holiday apartments. The mountain town of St. Georgen is not called the sunny mountain town for nothing. While the valleys disappear under a thick blanket of fog, St. Georgen often has bright sunshine.

Villingen-Schwenningen is a city located in Germany in the southwest of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. With around 81,000 inhabitants, the municipality is the largest in the Black Forest-Baar district.
The particularity of the city lies in the fact that it consists of two entities corresponding to two formerly independent towns, namely Villingen and Schwenningen. The two former municipalities merged in 1972 to become Villingen-Schwenningen. Another particularity is geographical: between the two old towns less than 5 kilometers apart, runs along a north-south axis the watershed between the North Sea (to the north) and the Black Sea (to the east).

This video has it all--from celebrating Tanner's birthday by RIDING A TOBOGGAN (yes it deserves all caps because it was freaking awesome!!), hiking to the most beautiful lake, exploring the famous Triberg waterfalls, & exploring all the many cities in between, we definitely fell in love with Germany's Black Forest region! Not to mention, hiking amongst tall trees reminded us of home. :)

Denkt man an den Schwarzwald, so fallen einem die Begriffe Bollenhut, Kuckucksuhr, Schinken und Kirschtorte sofort ein. Fragt man nach den Sehenswürdigkeiten wird meist der Titesee neben dem Feldberg, dem Schluchsee und dem Freiburger Münster genannt. Der ovale Bergsee, über dessen eigenartigen Namen es verschiedene nicht belegbare Sagen gibt, ist auf jeden Fall eines der meist frequentierten Ausflugsziele im Schwarzwald. Nur frühmorgens, wenn die Scharen von Touristen aus aller Welt noch nicht eingetroffen sind, strahlt der kristallklare Titisee in der hügeligen Landschaft Ruhe und Idylle aus. Vereinzelt sind auch dann schon einige Boote unterwegs.
Mit der Ruhe ist es am späten Vormittag vorbei. Die vielen Parkplätze füllen sich und dann strömen die Massen in den kleinen Ort Titisee, der sich mit einer Einkaufs- und Erlebnismeile bestens auf den Tourismus eingestellt hat. In den Geschäften am nördlichen Seeufer sind alle gängigen Schwarzwald-Artikel wie Kuckucksuhren, Schwarzwälder Schinken, Schmuck, Souvenirs oder Trachten erhältlich, die von hier aus in die ganze Welt reisen. Das Zäpfle-Bähnle fährt in die nähere Umgebung, die großen Schiffe starten im halbstündigen Takt zu den Seerundfahrten, die Bootsverleiher haben bestens zu tun und das Riesenrad dreht sich von nun an unaufhörlich.
Lediglich ein Besuch des kleinen Kurparks am Westufer neben dem Strandbad und eine 6-km-Wanderung um den See bringen dann noch ein ruhiges Naturerlebnis. @Rhein-EifelTV

Der Bonndorfer Kurpark, in den japanischen Garten integriert, ist ein Erlebnisgarten mit Objekten zum Anfassen, Anschauen, Begreifen der Natur und der Kräfte der Natur. Der Garten liegt am Südende der Stadt Bonndorf und grenzt unmittelbar an das Schloss an. Ein Erlebnis der Sinne soll der Park sein, der unter dem Motto der vier klassischen Lebenselemente Erde, Wasser, Luft und Feuer durch verschiedene Objekte und Demonstrationen aktiv und passiv erlebbar wird.
