BALADE DE RÊVE DANS LES RIZIÈRES (Betafo - Madagascar)
Idée de dernière minute : s'immerger dans une famille de paysans malgaches. L'occasion de partir se promener dans les splendides rizières de Betafo et comme le soleil est de retour, on en prend plein les yeux.
Nous sommes enfin arrivés à Manakara après 18 heures de train à moins de 10 km/h de moyenne. Malheureusement, la tempête nous a suivi. Nous décidons d'aller voir les pêcheurs qui reviennent de la pêche sur une mer déchainée avant de reprendre la route direction Antananarivo.
Nous n'aurions pas pu faire ce voyage sans l'aide précieuse de l'agence Jacaranda de Madagascar.

Situé au large de la côte sud-est de l'Afrique Madagascar, la grande île vue en drone, Antananarivo (Tananarive) capitale de Madagascar, située dans la région des Hautes Terres centrales de l'île. Antsirabé, ville des Hautes Terres c'est la troisième plus grande ville de Madagascar. Fianarantsoa, ville des hautes terres de Madagascar, elle s'étend sur trois étages. Avec ses maisons traditionnelles. Morondava et l'Avenue des Baobabs. Toliara (Tuléar) situé à 540 km de Fianarantsoa et à 951 km de la capitale. Toamasina (Tamatave) ville portuaire située sur la côte est de Madagascar. Mahajanga (Majunga) une autre ville portuaire située sur la Côte-Nord de Madagascar. Antsiranana (Diégo-Suarez) un vaste port naturel composé de plusieurs baies plus petites au large, l'île conique Nosy Lonjo, ou Pain de Sucre. Nosy-Bé, île au large de la côte nord-ouest de Madagascar. Ifaty groupe de petits villages balnéaires malgaches longeant la baie de Ranobe dans la région Atsimo-Andrefana. Nosy Iranja, composée de deux îlots : Nosy Iranja Be et Nosy Iranja Kely.

Zatrzymałem się w Mahanoro - ładna duża wioska, gdzie sporo mężczyzn zajmuje się połowami na oceanie. Porządne garkuchnie na miejscowym bazarze, gdzie można solidnie zjeść . Odwiedzam O. Krzysztofa oblata w miejscowej prężnej polskiej Misji. Po południu długi spacer w wiosce rybackiej tuż nad oceanem.
Betafo by motorbike (cheap lychees)
Filmed on the 5th of December, 2022 in Betafo and Antsirabe
We rented the motorbike again at Rando Raid in Antsirabe to visit the rice paddies of Betafo. There's also at least one waterfall in the area, which has water partially diverted to the famous rice paddies. Monday was also market day in Betafo, which meant it was very crowded (didn't film in the most crowded part). Then we went to the lake inside Betafo and before the rain came we drove back to Antsirabe.
On the way to Antsirabe we bought some lychees, which were delicious and in season. It's very cheap. Then we drove past the train station and some other sites in Antsirabe before dropping off the motorbike.

Motorbike Madagascar to Lake Andraikiba + Lake Tritriva

We rented a motorbike in the city of Antsirabe to make a visit to two and a half lakes. But we first made a detour to the Saturday zebu market, which was quite a detour.
The lake first is called Lake Andraikiba and has a small upper lake and a bigger lower lake. The second lake is the country-wide famous Lake Tritriva. Our guide (this is mandatory) told us we can swim, so we did just that. It was very refreshing. Not too cold. He said it's between 18°C and 20°C.
After that, the rain caught up with us since it's December and the rainy season. I stopped filming when it started to rain, so the last shots are still from the dirt road between Tritriva and Andaikiba. When we hit the (asphalted) main road, the rain became really bad and we arrived back in Antsirabe completely soaked. Still, we had fun.

Madagaskar, Besuch der Stadt Antsirabe, Weiterfahrt nach Miandrivazo
Besuch der Stadt Antsirabe im Zentrum von Madagaskar, mit interessanten Strassen und Gebäuden, wie die katholische Kirche und koloniale Häuser. Wir schauen noch bei ein paar Kunsthandwerkern vorbei und dem See Lac Andraikiba.
Weiter geht es am Dorf Betafo vorbei mit Terrassenfeldern und Reisanbau, nach Miandrivazo im Westen von Madagaskar.
