???????? LOS MOCHIS, Sinaloa - Welcome to Part 11 of my 2022 Northern Mexico Travel series! After jumping on the Chepe Express train from Creel, Chihuahua, after spending four weeks in the state in cities like Ciudad Juárez and Parral, I’m now BACK in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, after visiting here briefly in 2021 (but I was sick so couldn’t film!). It’s NOT what you’d expect from Mexico, that’s for sure!
I’m not going to lie, Los Mochis probably isn’t a city you would purposely visit on a vacation (or maybe it is), but, along with Mazatlán and Culiacán, it really does offer a lot, particularly if you are looking to experience a more modern side of Mexico, with fewer colonial buildings. Go against the toxic obligation to ONLY visit historical and pretty places in Mexico! Everywhere has history!
We visit the amazing botanical garden, centro, the old sugar refinery and have some classic fast food (not home-cooked by an abuelita and not particularly special comida mexicana at Los Nachos (mexican food) - really going against the grain here!). We also discuss safety in Mexico, particularly for women - is Sinaloa safe? Is Mexico dangerous? I’ve never had an issue in Sinaloa or felt unsafe - but I’m a single male.
If you’re hoping to be an expat or thinking about moving to Mexico, there’s more to the country than Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende! Consider northern states! They are brilliant!

We make it to San Carlos Mexico to explore the coast and find our own little slice of heaven. We spend a few days just watching the world go by. North Carolina has a humid, subtropical climate. Winters are short and mild, while summers are usually very sweltering, spring and autumn are distinct and refreshing transitional periods.
In most of North Carolina, temperatures rarely rise above 100 °F (38 °C) or fall below 10 °F (-12 °C), but differences in elevation and proximity to the ocean create significant local variation. Average temperatures in January range from 36 °F (21 °C) to 48 °F (9 °C), with a January average daily high of 51 °F (11 °C) and low of 29 °F (- 2 °C). Average temperatures in July range from 68 °F (20 °C) to 80 °F (27 °C), with a daily average of 87 °F (31 °C) and a low of 66 °F (19 °C).
The lowest temperature ever recorded in North Carolina was -34 °F (-37 °C), recorded on January 21, 1985 in Mt. Mitchell's highest, 110 °F (43 °C), was recorded on August 21, 1983 in Fayetteville.

Best Of Downtown Denver: Things To Do In The Mile High City!
Denver Colorado, the Mile High City! What can I say about this amazing city?! Well if your iinterested then follow me as I explore the beautiful downtown distrcits of Denver. We'll start at the iconic Denver Union Station. Built in the late 1800's. From there walk through the LoDo (or Lower Downtown District) to have breakfast before exploring the famous Larimer Street.
Along the route we'll stop and showcase multiple historical buildings throughout old Denver. Then head up to the Colorado State Capitol Building. Come and witness the Italian and French palatial style of architecture that dots the interior of this amazing structure.
To finish off I'll take you to a local Denver brewery as well as the northern RiNo River Arts Distrcit to explore the unique qall arts that dot The famous Alley at RiNo. Along with stops at the Denver Central Market for some food.
