If you’re traveling Guatemala and are looking for things to do in Guatemala and are up for a heart pumping adventure hiking up Volcán Acatenango is a great option. Volcano Acatenango is located around an hour from Antigua and starts at an elevation of 2,400 m. In this Guatemala Travel Vlog I will take you through my entire experience of hiking Volcan Acatenango, all the ups and the downs, literally! After a 5 hour hike straight up we reach base camp which is located at 3,600 meters. It’s here where we rest, take in the views of Volcán Fuego and sleep for the night before ascending to the peak of Acatenango for sunrise, 3,976 m (13,044 feet). This hike was the hardest physical activity I have ever completed and I will be honest there were many times I wanted to turn back around but knowing you were there with me kept me going! I hope this Acatenango Guatemala video helps you out when you’re planning your trip to Guatemala! #guatemala #acatenango

Au Brésil, la route BR156 présente quelques dangereux tronçons qui n'empêchent pas Sandro, passionné de camions, d'aller ravitailler des villages isolés au coeur de la forêt amazonienne. Benjamin, conducteur expérimenté d'autobus, fait quant à lui face à des défis semblables sur les routes vaseuses du centre du Cameroun. En plus des écueils liés à la présence de boue, il doit composer avec des passagers et des automobilistes parfois impatients en raison des retards engendrés par l'état du chemin.

My Amazon Adventure On Super 8 In 1972!
My Amazon Adventure occurred in 1972 when I visited Northeast Brazil for six months. On my way home to Detroit, Michigan, I made a sixteen day boat trip up the Amazon/Solimões River system, beginning in the city of Belem at the mouth of the Amazon and travelling to the Brazilian village of Benjamin Constant on the border of Peru.

Iguaçu Falls on the Brazilian side: Areas and Information
With one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world, the Iguaçu Falls Brazil was the second Brazilian National Park to be created in 1939.
It’s part of the largest remaining Atlantic Forest of southern Brazil. Protects a rich biodiversity, consisting of representative species of the Brazilian fauna and flora, some of which are threatened with extinction, such as jaguars (Pantheraonca), pumas (Puma concolor), broad-snouted caimans (Caimanlatirostris), purple parrots (vinacea Amazona), harpy eagles (Harpy harpyja) peroba pinks (Aspidospermapolyneutron), araucarias (Araucariaaugustifolia), as well as many other species of great value and of scientific interest. The park protects the entire basin of the Floriano River, an affluent of the Iguazu River.
This significant biological variability and the unique landscape of awesome waterfalls made the Iguaçu National Park the first Brazil Conservation Unit to be established as a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.
The Iguaçu Falls in Brazil extend a semicircular front of 2,700 metres long. The view is amazing. 800 meters are on the Brazilian side and 1,900 metres on the Argentine side. They are composed of a variable number of falls ranging between 150 and 270 metres, according to the river water volume. The falls have names like Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamin Constant, but the most famous is the Devil’s Throat.
The Iguaçu Parana rocks were originated from volcanic processes – called volcanism cracks that occurred in the region between approximately between 165 and 120 million years.
Together with the Iguazú National Park in Argentina, the park includes the most biological continuous important South-Central South America, with over 600 hectares of protected areas and other 400,000 in even primeval forests.
The Iguaçu Falls from Brazil side is an example of integration between conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.

A very calm place to visit in Brazil. There is a great contrast if we compare it with the enormous cities like São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro. Peruíbe has beautiful beaches, tourist attractions and excellents hotels to explore.
