Heading to Europe & Not Sure What to Pack? Here are a few things that my fellow US travelers may want to avoid packing if they are traveling to Europe.
1. Baseball Caps: Europeans in general do not wear baseball caps, especially backwards. You would be better served to wear a more traditional hat. You will see an occasional NY Yankee hat, but why not buy the fancy hat you always wanted instead?
2. Athletic Wear: Europeans tend to wear athletic wear to do sports, not to wear around town. There is a trend of more athleisurewear in Europe, but it is not to the extent that there is in US.
3. Khakis: the omnipresent US male pant choice is not something you will see too often in Europe. Go for colored pants or jeans. If you want khaki like pants wear Chinos instead of Dockers. The pants you will see are a thinner cut or skinnier fit than in the US.
4. Oversized US University Sweatshirts.
5. Sport Shoes or High Heals: US sport shoes and white socks are not quite as popular in Europe as they are in the US. You may be better off with Urban Street shoes like Vans instead. Also, women should be careful with high heels as with all the cobblestone it is easy to hurt your ankles.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

As principais atrações de João Pessoa são: As piscinas naturais do Picãozinho, as Piscinas naturais do Seixas, a Areia Vermelha, o Centro Cultural São Francisco, o Centro Histórico, o Parque Solon de Lucena, a Estação Cabo Branco, a Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo, a Ponta do Seixas, o Mercado de Artesanato Paraibano, a Feirinha de Tambaú, o Por do Sol na Praia do Jacaré ao som do Bolero de Ravel de Jurandir do Sax, a Fortaleza de Santa Catarina, a Praça dos 3 poderes, além dos passeios de bugue.
Além disso há passeios para praias mais distantes como para a Praia do Coqueirinho no município de Conde - PB e para a Praia de Tambaba que é uma praia de nudismo.
A capital da Paraíba foi fundada em 1585, sendo a 3ª capital de estado mais antiga do Brasil, também reconhecida como a 2ª cidade mais verde do mundo. Em sua orla foi proibida a construção de edifícios altos para preservação das praias.
É da Ponta do Seixas, o ponto mais oriental das Américas, onde o sol nasce primeiro, antes das 5h da manhã e se põe por volta das 17:30h. De segunda a sábado, a principal avenida da orla é fechada até às 8h para o tráfego de veículos para prática de esportes.

Minas Gerais to Paraiba
After an incredible time in Belo Horizonte, I head to Paraíba in the Northeast where I knew I would find amazing beaches.
I highly recommend Conexao Aeroporto if you need transportation to the airports in B.H.
Also, I should mention how much I enjoy flying GOL airlines. They have super mega clean 737's and they offer tons of free snacks and drinks during the flight.
Joao Pessoa was a really cool airport. It seemed even smaller than the airports in Foz do Iguacu and Sao Luis. I love the fact is so close to the city so you can get downtown quickly.
My next couple videos will cover Jacuma, then finally Joao Pessoa.

João Pessoa (Brazilian Portuguese, is the capital of the state of Paraíba in Brazil. It was founded in 1585 and it is also known as the city where the sun rises first, because it is the easternmost city in the Americas at 34° 47′ 38″ W, 7° 9′ 28″ S. Its easternmost point is known as Ponta do Seixas. The city is often referred as the second greenest in the world, with more than 7 square kilometres (2.7 sq mi) of forested land, second only to Paris, France, though such claim seems to be just a publicity stunt from the then mayor during Earth Summit.
It is the state's largest city, with an estimated population of 801,718 of inhabitants. Its metropolitan area comprises eight other satellite cities (Bayeux, Cabedelo, Conde, Lucena, Santa Rita, and others), totalling 1,223,000 of inhabitants.
The new Estação Ciência, Cultura e Artes (Science, Culture and Art Station), located at the most eastern point of the Americas (Ponta das Seixas), is both an educational and cultural institution as well as a national landmark. The complex, inaugurated in 2008, was created by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer and is one of his last projects.

João Pessoa é um município brasileiro, capital e principal centro financeiro e econômico do estado da Paraíba. Com população estimada em 2017 de 811 598 habitantes, é a oitava cidade mais populosa da Região Nordeste e a 23ª do Brasil. Pertence à Região Geográfica Imediata de João Pessoa e à Região Geográfica Intermediária de João Pessoa. A Região Metropolitana de João Pessoa, formada por João Pessoa e mais onze municípios, tem uma população estimada em 2016 de 1.253.930 pessoas, a 23.ª mais populosa do Brasil.
É uma das capitais de melhor qualidade de vida do Nordeste. João Pessoa, à época, Frederikstad, foi uma das duas principais cidades da Nova Holanda, junto com Mauritsstadt (a atual Recife), na segunda metade do século XVII. Possui antigo e vasto patrimônio histórico, similar ao de Olinda (mas, ao contrário desta última, manteve seu status de sede). Dados de 2000 mostram João Pessoa como a capital menos desigual do Nordeste, segundo dados do Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada, com o coeficiente de gini de 0,630, embora tal índice seja considerado muito alto de acordo com a ONU.
É conhecida como Porta do Sol, devido ao fato de, no município, estar localizada a Ponta do Seixas, que é o ponto mais oriental das Américas, o que faz a cidade ser conhecida como o lugar onde o sol nasce primeiro nas Américas. Fundada em 1585 com o nome de Cidade Real de Nossa Senhora das Neves, a cidade de João Pessoa é a terceira capital de estado mais antiga do Brasil, tendo já sido fundada com título de cidade. Durante a Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre o Meio Ambiente e o Desenvolvimento, João Pessoa recebeu o título de segunda capital mais verde do mundo. Segundo um cálculo baseado na relação entre número de habitantes e área verde, ficando atrás apenas de Paris, capital da França. João Pessoa é ainda a cidade mais verde do Brasil, muito por conta do Jardim Botânico Benjamim Maranhão, localizado na área central da cidade com 515 hectares de mata atlântica preservada, constituindo a maior floresta semi-equatorial nativa plana densamente cercada por área urbana do mundo.
A cidade de João Pessoa foi considerada, pela organização International Living, como uma das melhores cidades do mundo para se desfrutar a aposentadoria. No ranking feito anualmente pela organização, a capital paraibana surge ao lado da também nordestina Fortaleza como as únicas cidades brasileiras citadas na lista nesse ano. Apenas cinco cidades sul-americanas foram incluídas. Além das brasileiras, Montevidéu, Colônia do Sacramento e Punta del Este, todas no Uruguai, completam as cinco cidades da América do Sul indicadas para se desfrutar aposentadoria.
