Selangor Fruit Valley | Rawang | Day Trip| Places to visit near Cyberjaya | For Kids | 4K
After following maps for 50 km from KL, we had to drive another 1 km to reach the entrance of Selangor Fruit Valley. Near the gate, there is a stall selling fruits & vegetables produced from the farm. It has a spacious & free parking.
Next to ticket counter, there are restrooms. Entrance fees range from free to max 30 Ringgit depending on the age & nationality. After purchasing ticket, we were offered complimentary unlimited juice & fresh fruits while waiting for the transport.
A tractor driven tram arrived to take us for the SFV tour. The design was very innovative and attractive for kids. Each tram compartments were sanitised following SOP and also had a sanitiser bottle beside.
This farm is developed by PKPS, a subsidiary of Selangor State Government.
Passing by various fruits trees, we reached our first stop, ECO BRIDGE. A garden with green creeping plants and shrubs to give it a shady and peaceful surrounding to sit and relax.
With chicken & fish on menu Rimbun Café was open for a filling lunch. You can also grab some food and drinks since this is the only café here.
LAMAN HERBA or the herbs garden is supposed to have more than 100 species of herb.
Opposite to it is Carambola Pavilion, a complex equipped with seminar room, laboratories, and a great viewpoint of the vast tropical fruit & vegetable farm.
With the clock ticking here come our tram again to take us to the next stop.
While waiting under the pomelo tree, we realized with minimal walking this place is ideal for elderly person. The staff were also very helpful and responsive to get low step tram for them.
Getting down at TAMAN RUSA or Deer farm, we saw spotted dear & Timorensis. Kids enjoyed feeding them long beans sold by the staffs. They were mostly friendly whereas some were afraid to come close.
So, waving them a good-bye, the tram took us through mango trees, rambutan, coconut trees and dropped at the next stop called TAMAN ARNAB.
This was mainly a Rabbit farm. Spotted many rabbits left freely nibbling grass, hopping, running about, jumping, and of course burrowing!
The staffs were putting rabbits on head and hands of the kids so that parent can take out some nice pictures. There was also a small playground for kids to spend some time.
We noticed a big cage having various small colorful birds. We spotted some newborn baby rabbit, who were kept warm separately in some wooden tray with lots of shredded papers. Next, we meet a short spiny mammal hiding himself under white papers called hedgehog.
Boarding the tractor again, passing by garden of pineapple and a small pond we reached Rumah Kampung.
This is a traditional Malay house built in such a way that even on a hot sunny day, you will find the place much cooler. Everything visible here was made of wood. As we noticed a stall from the balcony selling coconut, we quickly got one to quench our thirst.
Beside this house, there was also a small section with many chickens, ducks, goats & geese enjoying in their own compounds.

Selangor Fruit Valley or SFV is a tropical fruit farm with an area of 646 hectares. There’s always lots of exciting new things to see and do at Selangor Fruit Valley.
Selangor Fruit Valley offers a fun-filled day out for the whole family, as well as amazing discovery playground for the young kids.
Of the total area of 169 hectares is the area self-cultivated by PKPS through the Plantation Division. Meanwhile, remaining area is reserved for Farmers Development and the rest are Office Building and Pool sites.
Explore the vast tropical fruit farm at Selangor Fruit Valley with your loved ones, engage in interactive learning and try the fun outdoor activities.
Selangor Fruits Valley (SFV) is developed by Perbadanan Kemajuan Pertanian Selangor (PKPS), a subsidiary of Selangor State Government.
The purpose of Selangor Fruits Valley (SFV) is to have visitors experience an educational agricultural life at first hand taste fresh produce sold by local farmers. Various attracton awaits at SFV such Tropical Fruits Farm, Herbs & Spices Garden, Deer Farm and Mini Petting Zoo.
The crops of choice are starfruit, guava, rambutan, turnip, papaya and so on. This farm was created to respond to the desire of the Selangor State Government to modernize the agricultural sector in line with the vision and mission of PKPS. Through the development of this SFV, it will be able to make the area more viable and commercial as well as generate the state's agricultural and agricultural industries.

Just an hour getaway destination from Kuala Lumpur & Shah Alam. There’s always lots of exciting new things to see and do at Selangor Fruit Valley. Selangor Fruit Valley offers a fun-filled day out for the whole family, as well as amazing discovery playground for the young kids.

Tram ride, Petting Zoo, Herbal Garden, Fruits, Harvesting Vegetables, Orchid Garden, Stingless Bees, Biking, Nursery, Rubber Plantation, BioTech Lab, Jeti Keranji, Carambola Pavilion, Eco Bridge, Carambola Monument, Traditional Selangor House.
PAVILION is a 3 story level of viewing space. The top floor is the main viewing space for visitors who can showcase the entire Selangor Fruits Valley. It also comes with a Seminar Hall that can accommodate 30 people at a time. While on the 2nd floor there is a surau and 2 lounges. So is a Bio-Tech Lab. On the ground floor will be built a retail space.
ECOBRIDGE COURTYARD is a relaxing space in the beauty of creeping plants as well as attractive landscapes. Here is also a 'Café' for visitors to relax and Selangor's Fruits Valley operating office.
The LAMAN MINI located at SFV Operation Center is a site planted with various plants such as various fruits, vegetables, herbs and even poultry farms.
RUSA PARK is the first stop for 'Tram Ride'. Deer in the park is from deer species of Demorans.
TAMAN ARNAB is the main attraction of visitors especially children to Selangor Fruits Valley. Here is also a playground and a viewing porch.

Selangor Fruit Valley is a beautiful plantation developed by Perbadanan Kemajuan Pertanian Selangor (Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation), a subsidiary of the Selangor state government.
Selangor Fruit Valley was established to give visitors the chance to experience first-hand the excitement of the agricultural life and taste fresh produce grown and sold by local farmers.
Various attractions await at Selangor Fruit Valley such as:
Tram and tractor ride;
Petting zoo (deers, rabbits, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, goats, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys);

Kuala Selangor is a town in northwestern Selangor, Malaysia. It is the largest town and administrative centre of the coterminous Kuala Selangor District. The name Kuala Selangor means Estuary of the Selangor River.
Kuala Selangor town is located at the estuary of the Selangor River, where it drains into the Strait of Malacca. It is located 55 km north-west of downtown Kuala Lumpur, and 42 km north-west of Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor.
Kuala Selangor town is the largest town of the coterminous Kuala Selangor region, which also contains the adjacent towns of Tanjung Karang, Ijok, Puncak Alam, Bestari Jaya and Jeram.[2]
瓜拉雪兰莪（马来语：Kuala Selangor）是马来西亚雪兰莪州瓜拉雪兰莪县的巫金和县府，北有丹绒加弄，南有武吉罗丹。瓜拉雪兰莪的地名来自于雪兰莪河 意即‘雪兰莪河河口.
