Dizem que antigamente faziam coisas para durar, este é um bom exemplo. O Farol do Cabo Frio, em Arraial do Cabo, mantém muitos dos seus mecanismos originais do século XIX. Tive a chance de visitar o lado da Ilha do Farol que tem acesso restrito para mostrar um dos lugares mais importantes e bonitos Costa Brasileira.

Today we start our day in Chapada Diamantina National Park at Pousada Lendas Do Capao (a treehouse). This is one of the most unique accommodations we have ever stayed at. We decide to do a big hike today to a waterfall, Cachoeira da Fumaça a waterfall that is massive, enormous, and by the time the water gets halfway down it's decent, it seems to evaporate and turn into smoke. The waterfall gets its name from this illusion. It is one of the most unbelievable waterfalls (or places in general) in Chapada Diamantina. So watch this video, let us know what you think. o Circuito das Cachoeiras na cidade de Barra do Corda, Maranhão.
Iremos explorar 3 cachoeiras incríveis da cidade, sendo a primeira e mais conhecida a Cachoeira Grande (também chamada de Cachoeira dos Índios), depois iremos para a Cachoeira da Fumaça e finalizar o circuito na Cachoeira da Pedra.
Todas as 3 formam o circuito das Cachoeiras de Barra do Corda, distando somente 20 km do centro do município a Cachoeira Grande e mais 13 km para chegar na Cachoeira da Fumaça e Cachoeira da Pedra.
Todas elas são formadas pelo Rio Corda, que conta com águas cristalinas e de grande força o ano todo, sendo mais uma opção para cachoeiras perenes no Maranhão.
O Acesso até a Cachoeira Grande ou Cachoeira dos Índios custa 5 reais, já com direito a estacionamento. Já para as Cachoeiras da Fumaça e da Pedra, pagamos uma taxa simbólica de 5 reais para os índios da região, já que está no território deles e eles cuidam delas.
