วัดเจดีย์หลวงวรวิหาร เป็นพระอารามหลวงในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ มีชื่อเรียกหลายชื่อ ได้แก่ ราชกุฏาคาร วัดโชติการาม สร้างขึ้นในรัชสมัยพญาแสนเมืองมา พระมหากษัตริย์รัชกาลที่ 7 แห่งราชวงศ์มังราย ไม่ปรากฏปีที่สร้างแน่ชัด สันนิษฐานว่าวัดแห่งนี้น่าจะสร้างในปี พ.ศ. 1928 - 1945 และมีการบูรณะมาหลายสมัย สำหรับพระธาตุเจดีย์มีขนาดความกว้างด้านละ 60 เมตร เป็นองค์พระเจดีย์ที่มีความสำคัญอีกองค์หนึ่งของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ในปัจจุบันคงเหลือสภาพเพียงครึ่งองค์ จากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวใหญ่ในสมัยมหาเทวีจิรประภา รัชกาลที่ 15 แห่งราชวงศ์มังราย[1] มีการสันนิษฐานว่าเจดีย์อาจมีความสูงถึง 80 เมตร ซึ่งทำให้เป็นเจดีย์ที่สูงที่สุดในภาคเหนือในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าว

Khaosan road
It is one of Bangkok's most vibrant streets, host to people from around the world. Crafts, paintings, clothes, pirate CDs, DVDs, fake educational diplomas, fake driver's licenses, food, second-hand books and many other useful items are among the common goods traded along the road. Khaosan road has also become popular among local people, especially artists and art students. The road hosts a number of pubs and bars, where people of many nationalities meet and discuss their travels. Famous sites within walking distance from Khao San Road include The Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew), Wat Pho, Sanam Luang Park, Chao Phraya river, Democracy Monument and The Golden Mount (Phu Khao Thong).

Beim Schnorcheln und dem spontanen Tauchschein-machen auf Koh Tao hat sich mir alles unter der Wasseroberfläche als völlig neue Welt eröffnet, der ich mir vorher überhaupt nicht bewusst war. Travel to Thailand: Dance of the Tai Dum People in Loei. I saw this dance at the Tai Dum Cultural Village in Ban Na Pa Nat, Tambon Khao Kaeo located in Northeastern Thailand. Tai Dum ancestors migrated to this part of Thailand from Laos in 1905 and today, visitors can learn about the culture and traditions. I was told this ceremonial dance is performed about every two months to ward off bad spirits and thank the good spirits.

วัดอุโมงค์ (สวนพุทธธรรม) เป็นวัดเก่าแก่ ตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกของเมืองเชียงใหม่ และตั้งอยู่บริเวณเชิงดอยสุเทพ อำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ซึ่งอยู่ทางทิศใต้ของมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ หรืออยู่ในซอยหลังมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่
ประวัติ
ราวปี พ.ศ. 1839 พระยามังรายทรงสร้างอาณาจักรล้านนาร่วมกับพระสหาย คือ พ่อขุนรามคำแหงมหาราช กษัตริย์ปกครองสุโขทัย และพญางำเมือง กษัตริย์ปกครองพะเยา มาสร้างเมืองเวียงเหล็ก (บริเวณวัดเชียงมั่นในปัจจุบัน) และตั้งชื่อเมืองว่า “นพบุรี ศรีนครพิงค์” ท่านมีความใฝ่ในศาสนาพุทธ จึงทรงทำนุบำรุง ส่งเสริมศาสนาให้รุ่งเรืองในล้านนา ในขณะนั้น ทางฝ่ายพระเจ้ารามคำแหงมหาราชได้ส่งคนนิมนต์พระสงฆ์จากลังกามาอาศัยอยู่ใน จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช เพื่อที่พระสงฆ์ได้เผยแพร่พระพุทธศาสนาในสุโขทัย เมื่อพระยามังรายทราบข่าวดังกล่าว จึงส่งคนไปนิมนต์พระลังกาจากพระเจ้ารามคำแหง 5 รูป โดยมีพระกัสสปะเถระเป็นหัวหน้าคณะสงฆ์นี้ โดยจำพรรษาที่วัดการโถม ต่อมาพระยามังรายสร้างวัดเวฬุกัฏฐาราม (ปัจจุบัน คือ วัดอุโมงค์) เมื่อสร้างเสร็จจึงอาราธนาพระมหากัสสปะเถระจำพรรษาที่วัดแห่งนี้
