The Czech Republic, also known by its short-form name, Czechia, formerly known as Bohemia, is bordered by Austria to the south, Germany to the west, Poland to the northeast, and Slovakia to the east.

Rowerowy Trip #10 to kolejna video relacja, z komentarzem audio z wycieczki rowerowej po Czechach. Podczas drugiego dnia pobytu w Brod nad Dyji, udaliśmy się do pięknego Mikulova.

Podczas tego rowerowego wypadu, przejechaliśmy przez takie miejscowości jak Dolní Dunajovice, Perná, Bavory, zanim dotarliśmy do Mikulova. Po dłuższym postoju w tym urokliwym miasteczku, udaliśmy się z powrotem do Brod Nad Dyji. Co nas spotkało podczas tego rowerowego wypadu i co robiliśmy w Mikulovie znajdziecie w audio komentarzu na początku filmu.

Exploring Czechia - 30 Minutes of Relaxing Music and Beautiful Sights of the Valtice and Břeclav
In this video, I show you two of the most beautiful cities in Czechia: Valtice and Břeclav. It was a wonderful sight to see. The magnificent 19th century monument of Kolonáda Reistna with its beautiful arches and columns was just wonderful. The St. Hubertus Chapel and the castles of Valtice as well as the Temple of the Three Graces were also magnificent architectural works.

1) Špilberk Castle
For over seven centuries, Špilberk Castle has dominated the skyline of Brno, a reminder of safety and protection it provided. However, there have been times in history of Brno when the fortress inspired fear, and represented oppression for the citizens of the city.
From a major royal castle and the seat of the Moravian margraves, it gradually turned into a huge baroque fortress, the heaviest prison in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and then a barracks. Today, Špilberk houses the Brno City Museum, and is one of the most significant cultural centres in Brno.

St. Peter & Paul Cathedral (or just Petrov in Czech) is one of the most important showplace in Czech Republic and view point number one in Brno. It is also pictured on Czech ten Koruna coin.

Valtice (Czech Republic) Vacation Travel Video Guide

Valtice is situated in Southern Moravia in the Czech Republic, a cultivated landscape that surrounds the former Feldsberg. For many centuries it was also home to the dynasty of the princes of Liechtenstein. It is an historic place, full of opposites, a world of antiquity and Barbarians, Christians and Pagans. Moravia was also part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, a proud and noble land. Valtice Castle has been rebuilt and enlarged many times. Prince Karl Eusebius of Liechtenstein had a particular fondness for art, architecture, alchemy and the breeding of fine horses. During his reign, Feldsberg was an important cosmopolitan centre of culture and the prince’s passion for collecting eventually resulted in a large collection of treasure. The castle would not of course be complete without an impressive park and garden thus a masterpiece of garden architecture was created. A curious observation tower in the form of a Moorish minaret is the symbol of the castle’s huge park and English garden design fully complements the floral splendour of the remarkable setting. Another romantic building is a Diana Temple which has the form of a triumphal Roman arch. The Liechtensteins reigned for almost six centuries and Valtice was their wonderful castle as well as their Garden Of Europe!

Bike Ride in Breclav and Lednice, Czech Republic

There are loads of different cycle paths and bike rides around the Breclav, Lednice, Valtice area of Czech. As we were staying in Breclav it made a great base for cycling. We were lucky enough to have bikes we could use but even as a visitor, there are places to rent and hire them from. One great place in Breclav for this is a place called Cyklosfera opposite Breclav Castle.

Český Krumlov is located south of Prague, roughly 107 miles (172km). 3-hour bus ride from Main Train Station area in Prague. If you take the train, you still have to catch a taxi far from the train station to the center of Český Krumlov. Bus is advised. Spend 2 or 3 nights to get a good feel for the town.
Welcome to South Bohemian town of Český Krumlov, Czech Republic, one of most majestic medieval town, a-must-see list (It does not have to be a bucket-list). The second most visited place in Czech Republic after Prague by tourists around the world. You can imagine what it would be like during Medieval Era of this town as you walk through the streets and entering the castle complex or the old town square. In fact, you do not have to imagine seeing kings and queens and knights riding their horses through the streets, each June, Český Krumlov hosts a festivity called Five Petalled Rose Celebration through the streets!!! Many noble family that had influenced this medieval town from Vítkovci, King Wenceslaus II, Rosenberg, Habsburg, Eggenberg and Schwarzenberg.Once you see for yourself and experience for yourself, you might find yourself contemplating retiring in this town possibly or even move here. Hey, anything is possible!
There are many good reasons why this town was voted into UNESCO World Heritage.

Mikulov is a town in Breclav District in the
South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It
has about 7,400 inhabitants. The historic centre of Mikulov is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument reservation.
The South Moravian Region is an administrative
unit (kraj) of the Czech Republic, located in the
south-western part of its historical region of
Moravia . The region's capital is Brno, the nation's 2nd largest city. South
Moravia is bordered by the South Bohemian
Region (west), Vysocina Region (north-west),
Pardubice Region (north), Olomouc Region (north east), Zlín Region (east)

The main sight is the Mikulov Castle. The castle
was built in the place of a Romanesque castle. At the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, it was
rebuilt in the Renaissance style, and in the late
17th century in the Baroque style. The last major
reconstruction was made after the fire in 1719.
Today it is the seat of Regional Museum in
Mikulov. The historic town square was founded in the late 16th centurv near the castle.
