CHULLPAS DE SILLUSTANI Atuncolla
Sillustani esta ubicado a 34km de puno en la ruta hacia juliaca, las Chulpas son mausoleos donde colocaban cadaveres momificados junto a sus pertenencias, objetos y alimentos, respondiendo a la creencia de una vida mas alla de la muerte; pensaban que en ese nuevo mundo les serian muy utiles.
Este cementerop se encuentra bordeando la apacible laguna de Umayo, siendo este lugar uno de los destinos de muchos viajeros que buscan gozar del silencio que rodea en estas imponentes edificaciones

Sillustani Archeological Complex - Puno Attractions
On a narrow, windswept peninsula on the shores of Lake Umayo, lie the remains of #Chullpas, huge, circular funerary towers.
This is #Sillustani, a short drive from the city of #Puno on #LakeTiticaca.
The pre-Inca necropolis was built between 1200 and 1450 by the Kolla Culture.
The ancient inhabitants, the Hatuncolla, interred their nobles, chieftains and high priests in the funerary towers.
The tallest of the towers reaches a height of 12 meters, and features a bas relief carving of a lizard on one of its highest stones. The back of the tower has fallen away, revealing a mound of earth protected by an inverted cone of close fitting building blocks. Older structures have a simpler form, but the plateau provides stunning views of the high lakes and ridges of Peru's southern highlands.

Como ir a Sillustani Puno | Titicaca Trip SRL
#Sillustani es un destino clásico dentro de #Puno, el cual no te puedes perder. Este complejo #funerario de la cultura #Kolla es realmente interesante y está #acompañado de unos #paisajes increibles. Hacer la visita por tu cuenta resulta muy fácil y económico. aquí te dejo los pasos para hacerlo. Viaja con nosotros o Sino Sigue estos pasos!
Paso 1
Lo primero es tomar un carro que vaya en dirección a Juliaca. El desvío hacia Sillustani se encuentra en la mitad del camino, así que será mejor informar al conductor para que pare y puedas bajar. Ese tramo toma aproximadamente 30 minutos. Los carros hacia Juliaca los encuentras en distintos paraderos, aquí te dejo el mapa con la ubicación de uno de esos.
Paso 2
Una vez que bajaste en la carretera, cruza y encontrarás carros esperando gente para llevarlos Sillustani. Esos colectivos cobran 4 soles aprox y te dejan en la misma entrada. Para que te puedas ubicar, te dejo el punto exacto en el que hay que bajar del colectivo.
Paso 3
Una vez que llegas, lo unico que queda es pagar la entrada y caminar unos 10 minutos hacia el inicio recorrido. Los precios de entrada son los siguientes: 15 soles general, 5 soles estudiantes y 2 soles para niños.
Como dato, los primeros domingos de cada mes, los peruanos pueden ingresar gratuitamente
Ya al inicio hay carteles que indican el camino y también otros que tienen información histórica del lugar para que puedas entender un poco más sobre lo que estás viendo
El recorrido no toma mucho tiempo y puedes pasear y disfrutar del paisaje con tranquilidad. Lo que a mi más me gusta del lugar es la vista del tremendo lago Umayo. Tomate un tiempo para disfrutarlo, escoge un buen lugar y siéntate a relajar con esa vista que es pura paz.
Regreso
El lugar está abierto hasta las 5pm aprox y si es adecuado tener en cuenta la hora ya que si sales muy tarde podrías quedarte sin transporte de vuelta hacia la carretera. Una vez que el colectivo te deja en el cruce inicial, tienes que pararte a esperar un carro que vaya con dirección a Puno.

Hola gente que tal, espero que bien, pues el día de hoy les tengo un nuevo video acerca de las chullpas de sillustani Puno. Indicarles el lugar de las chullpas pues corre demasiado viento por lo que dé repente no se escuchara bien el audio del video.
¿COMO LLEGAR?
1. De lunes a sábado los carros salen de la avenido PROGRESO puno.
2 Si estas viajando domingo tomar carros que se dirigen a Juliaca y bajas en el desvío para Sillustani.
3. La entrada de LUNES A SAVADO esta 15 soles y DOMINGOS GRATIS.

Sillustani es un complejo funerario en el que se puede ver una serie de impresionantes tumbas pertenecientes a la cultura Kolla (1200—1450) que se desarrolló en la parte norte de la península del lago Umayo, en la localidad conocida como Hatuncolla, a 33 km de la ciudad Puno. Las tumbas, llamadas chullpas, tienen la forma de troncos de cono invertidos, son construcciones que en menor número se encuentran también en varios otros locales del altiplano, como Acora o Ilave.Etimología
Chullpas, la superior de la época Inca, la inferior de la época Tiahuanaco.
El nombre Sillustani proviene de las palabras sillus (uña) y llustani (resbaladero). La traducción literal sería entonces resbaladero de uñas, quizás haciendo referencia a que la unión entre los bloques externos de las chullpas no permite ni el pasaje de una uña.
