Family Staycation at Swara Acacia lodge, Athiriver
Swara Acacia lodge, Athiriver is such a cool family friendly resort, great for a weekend staycation or weekend getaway with friends or family, they have many games and different fun activities for adults and children, beautiful views, you can take game drives, their plunge pool is very small but they are going to have a bigger pool in the near future, i enjoyed being there for lunch with my family and they enjoyed spending the night there. For swimming we went to Stoni Athi resort which is on the same direction,i also really loved it there, so if you are on the look out for interesting joints in athi river for parties, swimming or a weekend getaway I highly recommend, swara acacia lodge and Stoni Athi..
price wise Swara Acacia is cheaper but they both are quite affordable.

Athi River to Kitengela Road Views
In this video, we go from Athi River to Kitengela showing the Road Views. Athi River is a town outside Nairobi, Kenya in Machakos County. The town is named after the Athi River, which passes through and it is also known as Mavoko. It was carved off the Nairobi County Council in 1963, when the latter was disbanded. Mavoko municipality has six wards (Athi River West, Katani, Kinanie/Mathani, Makadara, Muthwani and Sophia). All these wards belong to Mavoko constituency, which has a total of ten wards. The remaining four wards are within Masaku County Council.
Kitengela is a plain in Kenya, located south of capital Nairobi. Kitengela begun as The Kitengela group ranch, made up of 18,292 ha and 214 registered members which was subdivided in 1988 in efforts by the Government to encourage private land ownership in pastoral systems, with the aim of intensifying and commercializing livestock production. After subdivision of the group ranch, land fragmentation and sales have continued at a steady and escalating pace. Kitengela is now growing quickly and expanding with a huge influx of middle class Nairobians who have built lovely gated communities and businesses in an unprecedented construction boom, thanks to the affordable land compared to Nairobi City as well as availability of five cement companies and growing infrastructural amenities.
